So how diversified are you?
How many alts do you own (at least 0.05 BTC worth to consider as holding)... like 3 doge coins does not count as holding doge. So like 100 bux is a mini stake in a coin and considered holding.

List you top 10 in order of amount held.
You can list your reasoning beside each coin if you like too.
You can be specific if you like.

Like for example you hold 22 alts

1 - 22 and why you own each one if you like.

"hold" has a little bit of broad meaning. by how long you mean?
it can be holding forever or for a couple of years or even for a couple of minutes.

i can say that i have always held altcoins for a very short period of time. this never exceeds 2 week most of the times. because i am simply interested in profit.

with that definition i am currently holding
LTC: because it had a nice dip and i still think there will be a pump.
Doge: because it is on the rise
had Siacoin but sold it right before i come here :) and reason for having it was because i saw the rise and jumped in.
DGB: same reason and same result
LSK: because the rise seems to be just starting.

i own like 16, but many are scam i know, i'm just waiting for the pump to dump them and forgot, lol, other i think are strong good coins, like spradcoin and nexus, picoin, Bitcore and netko, i want to hold those to see if the value will be better, some of them are very cheap now, and investors seems to aim at cheap coin to make a faster pump, i'm in a good boat i think

I only hold ETH,and ETC and dash,these are my trusted coin with bright future,I also hold DOGE because of the pump ,I just sold my steam with 12 %profit but now regretting while my stop limit execute that trade ,maybe I will buy back when the price fall

I'm currently holding around 5 different altcoins, I have XRP, NEM, STR, CREDITBIT and PINK. Most of the coins I am holding are currently on some projects and are mostly up to date.

I hold around 23 altcoins unfortunately only half of it are marketable,some of them are already dead or turn shitcoin but I'm hoping they will return back,10 of them are profitable of course I have those on the top 10 it's a must..

I don't want to hold a lot of altcoins. Maybe just 1-5 altcoins are enough to me. But right now, i hold only three altcoins. CRBIT(Creditbit), XRP(ripple), and DGB(digibyte). I only hold little amount of them and still want to add two more altcoin. I think i will add ETH and Waves. Just to make sure this will cover my losses when someone crashes.

to me i personally holding Ethereum. in fact i do not have so much assets to invest in some other altcoin, because i am already holding bitcoin and do not want to sell it right now, i want to wait tell the price reach to 3000 USD, and i am sure that very soon the price of bitcoin will reach to that point.

not many in the 50 and above alts ? I would have thought quite a few people would have spread themselves out.

I'm currently holding only 3 altcoins.

Ardor, NXT, Sia, IOTA, NEM, HEAT.

Holding more than 10 becomes difficult to track them, so I try to keep the number under 10 coins.

At the moment for long term we are holding and hope to have more, we are also bought in a few new ICOS but not received our tokens yet.

The first time I invested in alts was in 2013. Litecoin gave me good returns, but I lost huge in Quark, Labcoin and Terracoin. I still own a few Litecoins and Namecoins. I also have a few Terracoins, Dogecoins, Quark, and Freicoin in my wallets, but these are worthless now.

I havent invested a lot of money in those Coins tho. A little in every Coin listed below  :)

Hi, well I read a lot a do the best i can considering I am not a coder or designer. Also a lot of patterns you get to notice after a time.
However I have made many huge mistakes preventing me from being super rich by now.  After some time you get a feeling for it more.

yes bitbay is cool i have high hopes...

I hold over 100 alts but only a small amount. 0.1-0.5

block, ltc, pivx, doge, eth,  still holding a few btc in each.

tons of small outside chancers.

I like spreading out over a few and keeping a few big favs.

i have three. i'll stick with them as i'm no good at trading. i don't know how people make the space in their brain to juggle all the coins around right now.

In my case, I have 99% bitcoin, 1% dogecoin. Actually I am not so interested in other altcoins, except to exchange them in Poloniex to make money and buy more btc.

Just 1-5 of altcoins with just a small amount of volume in each coin i decided to buy most of the coins have a great potential to growing in the market there are coins who we dont expect the price growth in the market so i buy many coins as i can to have a cashback in. My investment qhen this happened.

I only have 1-5 altcoin, I have 3 altcoin which I hope will be better And the other 2 I think the coin has a very slow movement so that later I get money back without much loss.

Usually, when bitcoin is rising then altcoin will bleed. This time it did not happen. Altcoin seems unaffected by Bitcoin. Will these signs of bitcoin continue to rise? Many people speculate about saving some altcoins, waiting for the altcoin time to rise again. For me it is not important profit is the main one. When I get 5-10% profit I will sell it. This is situational .. in making a decision. ;)

I have dozens of cold wallets of alts, but most of them are under $1 in value.

The only major altcoins I have significant amounts in:

CLAM - I had hundreds of old addresses that I cashed in. Otherwise, I wouldn't have much of an interest in this coin.
STEEM - I made some Steem by posting blogs. I haven't touched it so far.
NMC - I have a few extra namecoins lying around from when I used to mine the,

the ones im in are all based on recommendations from other people are infinitecoin, teslacoin, energycoin, dogecoin, ethereum, siacoin, ethereum classic, litecoin and xrp.

Holding about 5 altcoins at the moment. My highest hopes go with Iconomi, they will release their product this year. Stratis is also on the rise, it is essentially as Etherium, and it partners up with Microsoft.
Darcrus is a coin, that is not yet widely known, so there is a lot of room to rise for it.
Ark also, fairly new, expecting it to boom soon. Edgeless is a nice coin, with unique functionality, so i believe in it.

ETH is raise so tall,the price of ETC should be raise more in the future.

not many mention ZEC. I though quite a few were holding that one.

As of now I already belong to 6-20 so I vote for it. I plan to hold More coin someday if I have more capital to buy but for now Im focusing to Make it grow and find a good coin to invest.

I'm pretty evenly split between BTC and XMR, probably 30-35% of entire crypto worth in each. Remainder are all around 5% each, being Decred, Myriadcoin, Vertcoin, Aeon, Byteball, Litecoin, and probably one or two I'm forgetting...

Bitcoin and small amounts of Dash, Ethereum and Dogecoin.
I have some other coins in my wallets, but I don't hold them for a long therm. I'm not an altcoin guru, so I mainly stick on bitcoin.

Just Ardor/NXT but looking at some good ICO's.

I am all in into Stratis and I have got about 10x profit but I am looking to diversify now and that is why I am here.
Looking for a cheap coin, NEM looks promising but skyrocketed 20x in liek 2 months so im gonan bet on something else.

This is cool I am also not much good at trading and can’t even manage a vast range of portfolio. For me it is good to have fun and business both with all the five that I am holding. I am not much fond of increasing the number in my portfolio instead I am more interested in managing well with what I have at the time.

I appreciate your strategy to work for earnings. It is good with no need to be greedy at all for a more and more want from a single transaction. Usually people lose a chance of profit margin when they are looking for a higher one. I think it is wise to get a little profit and start the game again.

Myriadcoin: No premine, Electrum wallet, 5 different POWs, still in accumulation phase, I expect this to explode someday even if it is another year or two.

Golos: I have about a $100 worth of these, just a random hope on the Russian market. I consider this a long shot coin, but with a potentially huge upside.

Stellar: I keep finding these...apparently I signed up for a bunch of free ones back in 2014. Totally forgot till I was cleaning out my password manager (Keepass). Sold them, then found an old email where they sent me more   8)

Ethereum- no need for explanation
Zcash.    - Most hyped privacy coin with bank connection
Ardor.    - yet to be launched but could be big if it solves the scaling issue
Lbry/decent - invested in both equally as both are direct competitors in content distribution
Zcoin - people think its a clone but it's not zcoin is an innovative coin in its own right
Lisk - hopefully after SDK  release it will fulfill its potential and compete with eth
Byteball- not blockchain based crypto with free distribution every month
Factom- business solution provider not a currency
Hush - lowcap coin with with ex-zcash dev worth a punt
Synereo- releasing its first product called qrator this month

Right now i am holding ethereum, golem, zcoin, belacoin and safe exchange coin. Safe exchange coin is just for fun ı am not serious with this coin and my investment to this coin is very low. I sold my einstenium and pinkcoin which are also two of my favorites. I will rebay when the price of these coins is cheaper than now. I hold generally 4-6 coins and i dont like to hold to many coins.

Just holding about  4 altcoins now. Ethereum, str, xrp and dgb and planning to buy nem and bts for long term
