I dont understand clearly how was the situation come to that. But I did some thinking if he really has done some rape attempts and that is the main reason why he hide in Ecuador and he only came out after he paid the victim that removes his petition in court. But I dont want to make more comments and I will the readings and decision to the court. If he is not guilty then justice will prevail.

I am sure that no attempt of rape was not. It was a secret operation of the American special services to get Assange and punish him in America for his publications. Now the Russians are trying to take him to Russia like Snowden. Trump will help them if Assange gets to America, but in their way stands English justice and that's bad news for Assange.

I don't think that the Russians will help Assange, like what they did to Snowden. The Wikileaks published a lot of evidence against Russia as well, and therefore Assange will be safer in third world nations such as Ecuador.

I didn't hear any resonance of the Wikileaks revelations on Russia. A few meaningless messages in order to divert suspicion from the Russians. You can see that all the brunt of Assange it is caused by America. Third countries may not protect Assange from retaliation for such a powerful country as the United States. I'm sure that Ecuador is someone much more powerful. Why is this "someone" may not be Russia?

I think he has nothing to fear. He's been hiding for years and even this investigation in Sweden got dropped.
It's the same with His threats that he won't forgive. Nobody will fear or worry about what he's saying, because he'd publish new leaks anyway, so there's nothing more he can do.
If the investigation was orchestrated by the US, they didn't achieve much.

But the problem is, even if the case is dropped. He will still be arrested by the British. If you would remember, he even filed cases in UN, stating that he had been "arbitrarily detained" and should be allowed to walk free and compensated for his "deprivation of liberty". He won the case. But unfortunately, the ruling was not legally binding on UK that's why he will get arrested as soon as he leave the embassy.

As for the rape case, I think they just make it up so that he can be extradited to US and put on trial for releasing secret US documents.

It's stupid that they still want to arrest him for such trivial thing.
The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) said Mr Assange still faced the lesser charge of failing to surrender to a court, an offence punishable by up to a year in prison or a fine.

In many countries he would've received a letter, asking him to come to court at a given date and he wouldn't be arrested at all.

He'd has the right to sue the parties involved if he feels that the charges brought against him were bogus. An we all know that the charges brought against him were cooked up by the usa

Assange was lucky that the leader of Ecuador won his election in the Presidential run-off that is the main reason that Sweden decided to drop the rape investigation for now. The odds are likely that they will still try to catch him using one method or another though.

I cordially invite Lasso to leave Ecuador within 30 days (with or without his tax haven millions) (Ah Assange always the joker)

Sweden's top prosecutor on Friday dropped an investigation into a rape claim against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange after almost seven years, saying that's because there's no possibility of arresting him "in the foreseeable future."

The announcement by prosecutor Marianne Ny means the outspoken WikiLeaks leader no longer faces sex crime allegations in Sweden, although British police said was still wanted for jumping bail in Britain in 2012.

Now if he can figure out this bail issue maybe he can get out of the embassy and a ticket to Russia ^^.
