I have just recently installed the Bitcoin client. I was hoping to test it out using the Bitcoin Faucet but it now requires a Google account which is a deal breaker for me. I'm anti-Google, no really I can't even view 18 plus videos on youtube any more. :(

Would some nice gentleman or lady please send me a convenient amount of Bitcoins so that I can check my client works? It took me 2 days to download the block chain so I'm a bit weary.

Just as a neat little tip, you can view 18+ youtube videos without logging in. for example, you have a youtube url like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9fm9hg69mA

just change it to http://www.youtube.com/v/d9fm9hg69mA

Thanks, I'll have to try that out. Previously I've had to watch them embedded in forum posts. But that restricts you to low resolution and no full screen.

I was thinking of doing this too. I was thinking "Man, with all the hackers stealing bitcoins lately (or government trolls) someone would probably be willing to give Bitcoins out just for being honest.

In standing with typical internet history, the odds of "Samantha" actually being a member of the female sex are pretty low.

This reeks of an MMO where someone would just make an avatar that looks like a hot chick and say "Help me pls, I am a gurl and dont know how to play this game.  Can someone give me 'x'"

i for one could care less of gender.


I dont like how google does things, but i still use stuff like their email services. so im not anti google enough to not register their services, besides i have been on the internet for a good while, google knows everything anyone else does with very little work

You could probably have gotten more coins if you posted pics of your tits to prove you're a girl (no, showing the lumps on a t-shirt isn't enough, anyone can stash balloons or whatever under their shirt), oh, and write somthing like "Bitcoin rules!!!" with a sharpie to prove it isn't just a pic you got off the 'net.

Not from me.

An obvious comeback would be "of course, you're gay", but i'm not the type of person that would react like that.
