I just realized it needs 240V, in my country we only have 110-120V. Was wondering if there's any power supply with that voltage, or a 100-240V thing? Or should I buy a converter? Try to search search in Economy > Marketplace > Goods > Computer hardware (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0) for some used ones. Title: Re: 110V power supply for Antminer S9? Post by: alh on May 22, 2017, 07:24:08 PM It also possible to 2 (or even 3) power supplies to power an S9. You have to be careful with the total power draw, and how you wire it up so as not to have more than one suppliy for a single hash board. You also have to fiddle with the sequencing, but it can most assuredly be done correctly. It is more hassle than a single supply solution.

Post by: jermwerty2 on May 23, 2017, 08:22:25 PM 1200W on ONE 1600W PSU is just somewhat scary. You need a 20A circuit and the wires still get hot.

The higher the level the more efficient the power supply is ie the more you will save over time on electric I have the platinum and titanium versions myself. I like them because they come with a 10 year warranty and in the 4 years I have been using them I haven't had one of the 30+ I have fail or give me any greif. The tech support guy said you can run it at 100% load for 10 years straight and if it fails well replace it so I do beat these things up and they are like tanks they keep on going
