Title: What do you think about the LTC
Post by: rmyg5907 on May 22, 2017, 06:06:54 AM
As we know,LTC is a tall price in market. Do you think it will raise more in the future?

I actually thought LTC would be breaking new highs by now together with Bitcoin.  Sadly it's not, as I hold some.  But we'll see what develops.  If the scaling debate goes on for longer in Bitcoin, I think it's to Litecoin's advantage.

Does anyone know any new developments on Lightning for LTC or if they already started coding it?

On reddit there is rumors that Segwit is a done deal with Bitcoin. So then what good would LTC be?

The lighting of LTC is an advantage to provide a fast pay,BTC is suitable to as a investment but not a pay way
I am worried that LTC would be weed out if it's no any banks or financial institutions to support

I thought LN smart contracts and anon were all upcoming features through Segwit? All the Segwit devs would go back to working on BTC?

Looking at growing bluff around bitcoin txn cost&time, LTC might have a good chance to gain on micropayment markets especially in asia. It'll take time no doubt.

I believe LTC will first come up with Lightning network, Bitcoin is too slow with very important decisions, so this will be advantage for LTC. This could be next highest height for our beloved LTC. But as always news and announcements are crucial for pumping, so be ready thing are happening very fast. Current status is less important for price at the moment.

I guess ltc is a dead coin at this moment because it not pumping at all but i guess we can still invest in this coin for a time right now and i guess it the right time because it is in a low price and that litecoin price is not pumping not still going up and down so still a investment.

I would like to hear more please, when you proclaim something is dead at least give us some references. We all are blind and we don't se this.
I only can tell you LTC has 1986 BTC's volume of trade only on Bittrex, and you call this one dead? I won't even bother to talk about hash rate, difficulty, accumulation, LN...I don't see point when this is dead and abandoned coin..

it is very sad to say this but, this coin is an improved clone of btc, but people dont buy it. why? because btc has higher value, people and many businesses recognized btc than any other altcoins. it it only matter of time when it will rise again, but for now I see no future in this coming months for LTC.

Your presentation then can be called upon all others coins without any exception. This is too frigid statement, and as such is only your opinion what is the best..LTC standing strong for all this time. And will remain this way, because we have a lot of developments, and good support of miners. Today is attractive more than ever considering all facts!

Right now it's the Time for bitcoin to pump high. Maybe soon after bitcoin becomes stable for a little, the litecoin pumping might get initiated. When litecoin gets usage same as bitcoin periodic price increase can be felt, because right now it's prioritized only as an trading coin.

Logically,
Based on my colleague discussion LTC trading history has a potential to grow up to 50% or 60% & I believe LTC will first come up with global currency network that's why we will get advantage for LTC against btc. But as always trading scenario are crucial for dumping till now. So i hope ltc come back soon at the moment.

I think yes, litecoin show a great movement in last month, this month the movement is not too great but many of the user believe that litecoin can be used to replace bitcoin, litecoin transaction speed is fast and the fee is not too high, litecoin can become one of the bitcoin rival in the future

Yes i think, There are some possibilities for litecoin to get another raise in the future. The alternative solution is the main reason for litecoin will incease in the future. more people come to buy them to make fast transaction more than what has done by bitcoin.

On reddit there is rumors that Segwit is a done deal with Bitcoin. So then what good would LTC be?

I would believe it if it's nearing 85% activation.  But with it stagnating around 30% - 35%?  Those are all wishful thinking, misinformation and rumors.  The miners decide if Segwit get activated or not, not those people on Reddit.

nope its done deal. Google it. Its on coindesk. It will be before September.

I think it will continue to do so remember chinese are backing them, even if there's no development on going.what more now that they had segwit,we'll see more big buzz about litecoin in the weeks to come,so it's ok to hoard for litecoin at this point.

I have mixed feelings about LTC. Not so much been going on lately. I bought in years ago when the price was 2 USD a piece. I sold some when the price went nearly to 50 USD. Have kept the leftover since then and planning on holding the bag until the price goes really high... maybe that will take forever or not. :)

Everything needed for pump is here, floor is reached, it won't go further down. Now only can fluctuate in small range while they do not accumulate enough for another good round. With improvements that will be made with LN this will be super attractive coin.

Then you must recognize this as good opportunity now!

You do understand that coindesk is owned by Digital Currency Group? And that Digital Currency Group was launched by Barry Silbert in 2015?

Not saying it's happening or not. Just saying that relying on a media company controlled by someone deeply involved in this agreement might not be the best source for unbiased news.

It seems your principle is good to save LTC, I also believe LTC prices will soar in the future, so hopefully you wait for LTC time to get up and up again the price. Good luck to you

I think with the current development,  LTC price will increase because of the hype caused by activating Segwit.  There are also  several development in line that will boost LTC and bring in even more hype.

I think the segwit addition is great for the coin. But it may hit a patch of lower pricing for a while since all the hype before about Segwit coming drove the price in advance of the event. The profit to be made may have already come.

Litecoin, being a top 10 coin and with a considerable share in market capital, will have a bright future. Especially when the development of this coin will be put in place.
Of course it will rise in the future because ltc has a wide market to explore. There will be a massive adoption of this coin due to its distinctive feature..
