Post by: TMAN on May 22, 2017, 12:27:57 PM
Hi Peeps, with School fees due for the kids, I am looking at the possibility of selling one of my Kialara matching pairs.

I haven't seen a matching pair come onto the open market recently, but I am open to offers (in thread or PM)

these are located with me in the EU, buyer will need to cover all escrow fees and insured shipping only.

talk to me...

I am interested in the set, though I concede that I am not entirely up to speed on the current market value of the Kialara bars.  Does anyone have a baseline for what these traditionally sell for, either separately, or as a set?

The last gold I sold was #19 for 3.25BTC I haven't see. A matching pair on the open market, feel free to PM or post offers, I can either accept or decline

I sold my Kialara Gold Bar for 1.75BTC which I thought was fair.  They originally sold for $250 - 3.25BTC is ~30X initial value and I believe it's on the high end for an item that doesn't come loaded with any Bitcoin or contain a substantial amount of Silver/Gold.

Someone buying them now isn't because of the value they were bought at or the bitcoin/gold/silver they contain.  It's really an intrinsic value of the fact that only 100 were made and sold out in the first day (hours).  Very rare.   Even more rare is that it is a matching serial set and low serial.

Just imagine the premium that is going to happen with the moon bars (set and suites).  Even lower qty (21).  Value = up.

Thanks Digi.  I must say that I am surprised by the level of premiums on the Kialara bars, even as rare as they are.  I do appreciate the information though.  Best of luck with the sale TMAN.

lower numbers attract a premium, matching low numbers an even larger premium.. if this does not get enough interest I will take it down from sale and sell something else instead.. no drama to me.

You might have to accept PayPal or some form of cash through escrow. I think people are holding on to their bitcoin right now:) Good luck with the sale, beautiful set!
