Title: AMD Drivers autoupdating and crashing my rigs Post by: joerazor on May 22, 2017, 12:52:13 PM I am having a terrible issue with AMD Drivers autoupdating and crashing my rig.
I have AMD Drivers v 16.11.5 installed (Also tried 16.9.2) for my 480 cards.... Rigs work fine for a couple of hours, then BAM... Drivers get automatically updated to the latest RELIVE AMD v17.1 which crashes my rig. I have the "UPDATE" checkbox unchecked after installing my 16.11.5 or 16.9.2 drivers but it still updates. Anyone able to fix this issue? Driving me crazy. Need to have updates OFF! For a dedicated rig it's fine, if you're actually using the computer as well, I wouldn't suggest it because it does turn off the security updates as well.
