Title: Is anyone making a new mobile wallet? Post by: savantguy on May 02, 2013, 12:07:25 AM So on android there seems to be only really one decent wallet (not a wallet service). However, it does not have encryption or any other advanced features. Does anyone know if one is in the works?

Post by: savantguy on May 02, 2013, 12:11:57 AM yeah I understand about if my phone was stolen, which is why I would encrypt the wallet and have the backup on something like dropbox. So if its stolen I could recover the wallet from any pc and the thief could not use those funds. Am I missing something?

As a noob I think bitcoins have potential to fast and effortless payments, in internet as well as outside. Just requires proper infrastructure.

There's a lot that can go wrong especially on the permission side of things. I use a mobile wallet, just like my real wallet. I only keep about ~$60 worth of bitcoins in it. If you treat it as a physical wallet, that you know there is a risk you can lose, then there should be no problems. |
