What is it that I should do if I want to see the worth of 1BTC in my local currency?

May i know which country you live? Use electrum wallet or mycelium. Im using both wallets because you can store your btc at the same time, see the price in your local currency. You can see the worth of bitcoin in your local currency. Or better use google and search its conversion in your local currency if you want.

i usually use google

search: "1 BTC to GBP"  for example

pretty sure you can check your local exchange to see how much 1btc is worth in your currency, I am doing that if i want to check the rates, it will help tho, not all things in the world you should ask

You should visit at http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#markets and search for any of BTC trading pairs on several exchanges to compare it or at https://www.cryptocompare.com/coins/btc/overview and change option to another currency value of BTC that you want instead of USD only.

I feel like we're being trolled by someone who wants to set up a Currency Fx site.

A newbie with a very English username asks how to look up BTC value in fiat? Why not Google: BTC price in [InsertDesiredFiatCurrencyHere] ?

Instead, he gets a bunch of us to list our "go-to" currency Fx sites as a potential indicator of popularity.

You can just Google it. They have all the currency conversion available.

I check for USD first and then compare equivalent bitcoins in terms of my local currency against USD. Gives more exact result.

You can see it. Just search in Google the want that you want to see. Example 1BTC to  xxx (Your Local Currency). Then it will apperead to your screen. Also try blockfolio that they can calculate you're all profits that have been made just search it in google. If you didn't understand what would you do

Blockchain.info has almost any currency available to check it for.  Put your address in the search box in the far up right of your screen and when at the next page where it shows your transactions scroll down to the bottom of the page and choose the desired currency. It will automatically convert it to your local currency when choosing that currency.

I thing you are using some EUR as money. Just put key words for google, then there you go for currently price bitcoins.

I think you can exchange that 1btc worth of your currency through blockchain wallet which can convert your bitcoin to your local currency money, so that you will appreciate the goodness.of bitcoin to be your source of money; now it's worth it. Here in the country where, I lived now the online wallet site has accepted bitcoin transaction through blockchaim network which automatically converted digital currency bitcoin amount automatically convert and exchange to fiat money wallet, that can be cash out through recommended banks. You can use google search then if you still don't find it and that's a great idea for now.

Well you can actually use google to see what is the current price of bitcoin in your currency, just type in the textbox whatever your local currency is followed by to btc . That's what I usually do whenever I am checking the price of bitcoin in USD .

A simple search on google with "1 Bitcoin = Your local currency" could be enough to get exact price of bitcoin in any local currency. I do the same and for price in other fiats preev.com is quite reliable service.

I am pretty sure you can google the rate of btc in your currency not sure how accurate it is or you can just post your currency name in the post and someone can help you find its rate.

It depends on your country actually and as others have suggested Preev and Coinmarketcap will show you the conversion rate of BTC to Dollar and you can google the Dollar to your local currency exchange rate easily.

But the real demand for 1 BTC in your local currency could be found with localbitcoins.
I do often referring localbitcoin offers to check bitcoin's prices in my local currency. Interestingly my local exchnagers are just following localbitcoin prices for setting up bitcoin prices rather than converting preev rates.

What is your local currency? First of all bitcoin price in US dollar should be the same everywhere, so, just look the price of the US dollar in your country and make easy calculation to get what the price of bitcoin is in your local currency.

Why you need to check the value equal with his local currency in exchanges. Better he could try in coindesk or preev. Else, Google it as like 1 BTC to “local currency”. He can easily get the rate accordingly in the Google results itself. No need to be so complicated in this.
Exchanges rate differences are to get the more bitcoin in trading and buy the bitcoin for them. We cannot able to consider that amount as exact value of bitcoin.

Preev can be used but sometime it is got an error too, maybe if there are some local exchanger in your country you better check in there because it is more accurate

Correct.The only accurate answer here.While preev.com and other on google services show the relevant prices but if you're not in the US/UK/EU,there would be drastic changes in the prices on your local exchanges in your local currency.It all depends on the traders from a specific country.
From my experience,the exchange rates on localbitcoins for my country is always higher than whatever is shown on preev or google.

I actually dont believe the preev rates to the local currency, they flash some high rate in the conversion. It is better to check with your local exchange where you can buy BTC or other crypto currencies.

To find the local Bitcoin price, I simply use Google. Just search up "BTC to ***" (Whatever your local currency is, in my case, it's AUD). Google tends to have the best range of currencies. If you want a good looking site to view that's simple to read, I'd say to use preev.com. Its a great site, for mobile and desktop.

Yes, Google should be your best friends forever. Don't hesitate to ask any question your best friend Mr. GOOGLE. Just using your hand typing on google either typing here, definitely will get good experience if you didn't it past.

A simple look at localbitcoin will solve all your curiosity because to the best of my knowledge, the site is present in most countries in which I believe Op's own will equally be included then aside that there will even be the availability of several prices to choose from.

I would call this scheme as correct. No doubt in your country there is local online bitcoin exchangers and there should be current price in your local currency. Check it out.

Just search up 'BTC to (your local currency)'. It has a great range of currency and is fairly easy to use.

From wich country are you on? Since the one who can answer your question here is your fellow country men maybe seek for some information on google about on how much is the convertion of btc to your local money or maybe seek some social media groups where you can see some of info about it. But surely you can seek those convertion if you found those local wallet existing on your country.

You can see it by yourself through online wallet. You just need to find your local currency for it.

Whenever I want to see the value of one Bitcoin in terms of my local currency (Nepalese Rupee), I just type "BTC to NPR" in Google. It displays the latest exchange rates in NPR. Why go to third party sites, when you can have the rates displayed on your laptop/mobile in less than 2 seconds? And for rates in USD, I depend upon bitcoinwisdom.com.

Exactly my point! From the look of things and his spelling ability, it's obvious he should know where to look for the answer he so sought if he were really serious in selling his Bitcoin. But then the usual happens and LAZINESS sets in, and the zeal to question Google for that search dies off.
