How do you buy Bitcoins using Paypal? I'm thinking of buying few Bitcoins but I don't have enough funds in my credit card, but I'm having enough on my Paypal account. So I don't know how to buy using PayPal

Well there some website that can buy bitcoins using paypal as a mode of payment also there is some of exchanger like people exchanger people to people.

Go to currency exchange section and you can find some good reputed sellers selling bitcoin for PayPal. Do not forget to use escrow and only deal with a sellers who have good positive feedback.

If you wanted to buy bitcoins through paypal then you can use localbitcoins site where you will find lot of options to buy bitcoins. but it is not recommended to use paypal for bitcoins as paypal blocks the account which uses bitcoins and if any problem in transaction paypal wont help you. So be carefull when you use paypal for bitcoins

I would say it is more difficult for the seller, as the buyer can do a chargeback and keep the Bitcoins.

Expect to have to show a lot of documents to be able to buy Bitcoin with Paypal.  They shouldn't trust you, so will want to see your passport/ID and get other verifiable information from you before selling, to reduce their chances of getting ripped off.

I guess you will have to pay a premium too.

All in all, it would be better for you to buy using almost any other method. Why do you have to use Paypal??

but don't expect to easily find someone who is willing to sell bitcoin (which has irreversible transactions) to your Paypal (which has easily reversible transactions).

As few users have already suggested localbitcoins is the best way to buy bitcoin using PayPal. In localbitcoins you could find different traders accepting different methods of payment which is not available with other exchanges. Other than that you could find threads stating bitcoin for PayPal in the currency exchange section. Here you need to contact the person and make the purchase with the help of escrow.

i can't really understand the usage of an escrow in a trade like this!
i mean paypal has charge back and OP wants to pay with it!
in case other party didn't deliver, he can simply charge back! and in case the other party pays and he does a charge back no escrow can help the other party out of getting scammed!

to OP using Paypal to purchase cryptocurrencies is against Paypal's terms of services and they may block your account if they find out.

Could you not just use a "friends & family" payment on Paypal?? I thought they were effectively non disputable (unless you pay by credit card and lodge a dispute with your card company)?

That would even things out and then both parties would be doing non-reversable transactions:

- PersonA sends Paypal F&F to Escrow
- PersonB sends BTC to Escrow (or directly to PersonA)

Once BTC TX has confirmed (to avoid double spends etc)... escrow forwards the Paypal money to Person B.

You can purchase bitcoin with some guys over localbitcoins or paxful but you may end up paying way higher than market rate because bitcoin sellers will always have risk of chargebacks with paypal. I think buying bitcoin with credit cards is way cheaper and easier than using paypal.

Absolutely never do it directly.  PayPal is reversible, so everyone will think you're a scammer and charge huge fees.

It's also against PayPal's ToS now, I think.

Though there can be many ways but I'd recommend using local bitcoins and find someone who is nearby so you can meet face to face and then do your trade, there will be less chances of any mishap by this way.

OK, you have 2 choices here.
Do you have someone you trust?
If so, ask him if he have enough funds in btc and send him paypal funds.
He should send you the same amount of btc.
Other way id to use https://www.virwox.com/ (https://www.virwox.com/) service.
Here, you csan deposit paypal funds and exchange to their own, SLL currency and after that exchange from sll to btc and withdraw.
It's expensive service, with high fees, about 10% but if you don't have other choice, i can recommend them.
Tried this service already many times without any problem.

I dont buy bitcoins using paypal within people that i dont know or even at sites for security reasons.I buy bitcoins using paypal when some of my friends are selling bitcoins for paypal to ensure safety and security

Withdraw those money to your bank account (credit card) and buy via an exchange or localbitcoins.

You won't find people accepting paypal without a reasonable fie to mitigate the risks.

I've heard people say to avoid transactions with bitcoins using PayPal because of potential scams. Just be careful. It maybe more of an issue on the selling side.

Just a word of caution if you want to exchange bitcoin with Paypal. My account was put under limitation just because I sold bitcoin and exchanged with Paypal. As we speak, I have not been able withdraw my money from Paypal because of this. Although the limitation is past over 45 days, I can not withdraw because I don't have US bank account.

You can buy bitcoin using paypal here in currency exchange section, there's some recommend seller there but the rate is quite expensive in my opinion, better go to locak bitcoin and do some local bank transfer.

It is impossible to buy bitcoins with PayPal on this forum without any sort of trust. If you are a newbie forget getting bitcoins with your PayPal. Paypal trades are only done with trusted people. The best solution for this is withdraw the funds to your card or bank. Get cash  go to local bitcoin and buy at 3-5%. If you are looking for 1:1 trade forget it

You probably tried direct exchange paypal/btc and paypal don't like it.
It's much better to use service as Virwox and first exchange btc to their own currency and after that to usd and withdraw to paypal.
In such way, paypal can't know that your funds came from bitcoin.

Perform a search on bitcointalk : wesellcrypto and read the reviews and comments.

Personally, I had no problems, they are fast and, by now, reliable. The fees are high, but, to be honest, it's expected.

All my trades with then was U$15, never tried a higher value.

Just ensure to register on site the same mail address used as the MAIN Paypal address.

some sellers in my country accept paypal for Bitcoin. Therefore, it is very easy to buy Bitcoin with paypal. However, I suggest not to use paypal because you will find that it is hard for sellers to accept paypal because Paypal money can easily be revoked by the buyers

if you want to have a high fee's maybe try to buy bitcoin from people using your paypal or just convert it to bitcoin if someones needs funds then try to trade it to them when you are going to buy bitcoin using your own paypal account i think it will be more high fees than people rates. But much safer is to buy on trusted one.

I guess there are some wallet that accepting paypal coinbase i guess it accepting creadit card but you can use also exchanger to buy bitcoin there are many exchanger accepting paypal card to usd then you can easily convert into bitcoin so just try many sites.

It is not a good idea to buy Bitcoins using Paypal directly, first of all, the rates will be worse compared to other options, and secondly, it will be hard to find someone who will trust you.My suggestion is to withdraw your Paypal funds to your bank account or your credit card and then look for a seller at localbitcoins.

Agreed, localbitcoins seems the best way for a buying using PayPal. It gives the transaction with the help of escrow which makes it more trustful. Also it was one among the recognised trading platform among the top five. Other than this you could find a user from our forum through currency exchange section and buy using PayPal.

its actually very easy and you have two options on how to but some bitcoins using this method
(i) if you want come cheaper bitcoins you can provide some form of identification to prove you are the owner of the account used on an exchange like paxful or localbitcoins or get them at a premium without id

Most of the members here and other places too will not accept Paypal in exchange of BTC as scamming using Paypal is too common these days and once the bitcoin is reached its destination and got some confirmation, Paypal can chargeback and scam the other guy. Its better to do a bank transfer or CC buying in your local store.

I guess your best bet would be to buy it through coinbase. The site has been around for so long that you will not have any problems. Many people have used it so there is no chance of loosing money. You can use paypal or any credit card there to buy bitcoin and can get as much as you want. The fees are very low too which is good.

paxful is the best place for me to buy bitcoin, there is canadian guy on paxful with 2000++ green trust, you can buy from him .

Apart from the aforementioned Localbitcoins or Paxful there are some exchange that allow you to buy bitcoin with paypal like Cryptonit.

Not really possible anymore, most people who sold using paypal got chargeback and usually the scammers won on this kinds of deal with paypal. So I guess most systems do not accept paypal anymore because of this. You can try people here. But I doubt people will be willing to sell to buyers without trust.

You can exchange you bitcoin to Paypal from Different of site or you also do this with some people but be careful firstly check his rank if his rank was full member or up then deal with him and secondly check his trust rating if its perfect then deal with him but you also take an escrew it's a batter way to deal with someone.

There could be some websites that are accepting paypal credits for buying bitcoin but I am not sure and i don't even know if the said service or platform is trustworthy . Aside from that you can also try to find some people on social media like facebook who are exchanging their bitcoin for paypal credit hopefully it can help you . But of course beware of those scammers .

Currency exchange is prohibited, it's clearly stated in their ToS.

There's a very old method to buy btc via paypal but it has high fees and I think the minimum amount you must buy is 0.01 or 0.02 btc. Virwox offers btc for paypal exchange with SLL. Not many use it though due to high fees and rates. Depositing $50 you might walk away with $40 of btc.

Virwox's fee is crazily too low and they've got high percentage so I stopped using them. I used them once but I stopped. Today, I don't have PayPal funds anymore as I stopped my freelance job that is being paid through PayPal. If you want to have assurance try to go at the currency exchange there are legit and trusted members here you can talk to.

I can comfirm, I had my first bits of BTC that way.   Good to test and play with few € but definitely not for big amount.

You will have to look for an exchanger site which you trust. Exchangers are made for the same thing you talking about, to exchange your money from on currency to any currency AND from one wallet to other wallet! There are plenty of them out there which can do the job in few minutes to few hours. They will incur little fees but it is worth it.  :)

Yes it did worked but the amount I was expecting is not accurate. I'm not aware that they have higher fees than others.

I guess it's better to transact with some trusted PP>BTC traders here on forum rather than using virwox.

You need to buy first SLL before you can fully convert it to btc / usd.

There are some traders working with paypal, but they wont take the risk to sell the bitcoins to anybody, and its clear because refund can happen anytime, there is now payza that is allowing to buy soo would be better exchange to payza and those way you can buy bitcoins, paypal doesnt support exchange neither crypto, soo there is always a risk to get funds blocked.

Last year the process was so annoying and the fees were so high that I simply decided not to use this method. Not sure if things have improved though.

Local bitcoin is way better to buy because it is much trusted and been used by your locals people. And you could also start trading because people and transaction is needed if you want to buy bitcoin. So it make take an easy investment just make sure to chose the proper wallet and as a form of wallet paypal is just like other wallet where there is transaction and fee if you are going to buy bitcoin. So for me its better to start on considering to have a source of bitcoin which can be find in signature campaign in the forum so it will not be so hard for you to find bitcoin or to have a bitcoin capital for your investment and tradings.

In my opinion the last already and me any platform starts to accept Bitcoin or other crypto currency, so even such a payment system as PayPal is no exception. I have already faced the fact that today it is normal to use both the crypto currency and real money without PayPal as without Bitcoin it is very difficult to do.
