Story: So I had bought about 2.86 million verge in bittrex and decided for some reason to send it to yobit. I can't remember why I thougtht this would be a good idea....now i'm waiting and waiting and my wallet is showing 0 balance. Days later it's still not showing up. I contacted the verge developer and he said that yobit is actually not a supported exchange! Why the heck are they trading the coin if they aren't supported? Is everyone who is buying verge on there getting scammed or is it just me?

EDIT: Yobit fixed the issue, on Saturday June 10th I got my coins. Very late, but it was resolved

XVG appears to be listed as DogeCoinDark on YoBit.

Not able to see that YoBit lists Verge on here though.
Supposedly DogeCoinDark is the previous "Verge" before it being rebranded.

You are not the only one with wallet problems though, I have a few bitcoins worth stuck in Decred/DCR and wallet has been under maintenance for a few months now.
They've recently said they're going to fix the wallets in the next 2 weeks... hopefully they manage to do it.
They handle quite a lot of coins (almost 700 I believe) so mistakes are bound to happen

Avoid YoBit at all costs, never trade there unless you want to lose all your money because you cant withdraw

yes this is the verge side  but yobit still trading the currency and from 6 days yobit was still listed as XVG exchanger in coinmarketcap but delisted now, and before we know all this we sent XVG to yobit hoping to make some profit but i think if yobit admin can help us either by crediting the deposit or refund it this would be appreciated

I can't accept this as a loss I believe in the verge coin, it's already worth thousands of dollars. I really hope yobit helps us out, maybe they are just swamped. As an early investor who held this coin for months and months , how can I just say forget about it?

what I've heard is that an update to verge coin has broken their system for observing verge coin transactions. so if they have the private key and you know the coins to be on that key then you should be okay once they fix their wallet system for verge coin.

ohhh when are they fixing that wallet? and if their wallet is off the chain, doesn't that mean out coins are lost?

If they have the private key the coins should be recoverable, just because the balance says nothing doesnt mean the coins aren't there it could mean they just dont know there are coins in that wallet because their code is broken.

YoBit is horrible, i have had problems with them personally too.
On your case OP, we are talking about such a huge amount of money that you should gather any proof that they stole your coins, if you need to fight.
Yobit is probably the most shady exchange in existence.

They are the worst when it comes to customer support. Good luck, and find another exchange when you can.

The XVG wallet is working fine on Yobit. I had the same issue a week ago where my altcoin wallet was under maintenance and the coins took 3 days to appear in my wallet. I keep messaging support and still no help its probably been two weeks for myself as well. Can these guys just give me my private key i dont understand why its taking so long.

I don't think people should flip out over their balance not updating immediately sometimes technical issues happen its understandable but two weeks is kind of ridiculous, they need some sort of wallet export function so I can it handle myself and get my money back, I have a decent chunk of change in xvg on yobit and I want it back now.

Not two weeks but 2-3 days. Like my issue got resolved in 2 days but the issue with these exchanges is that their support doesn't respond even in a week and like yobit, there are other exchanges that have resolved my issue after 15 days which is a very long wait. Cryptopia, Liqui, Unocoin and Bittrex are the only exchanges that solve issues within 24 hours but they do not list all altcoins that I use. Polo also has had the same issue.


Same here. I find yobit delaying way too many payments and most of their wallets remain under maintenance. Due to this, they are losing out on customers.

Awesome, I got my coins! thanks for the support. I do appreciate the help, I just hope in the future we could get some sort of recognition that help is on the way, instead of being in the dark. If i had some indication that I would get help, I wouldn't bother creating this thread.

Now a days yobit exchange is solving people issues by responding to them by giving yobit codes if they do any mistakes. One of my friend share his postive approach towards the yobit.

I have the same problem here, i've sended on 24/01/2018   7828.31 Vergecoins (XVG) from my XVG wallet on Bittrex to my XVG wallet on yobit.net. I have still an empty xvg wallet on yobit.net, nothing shows up.

Yesterday, I withdrew 7102.27072727 XVG from yobit to binance and shit happens.
Binance wallet didnt show up and couldnt check the hash in https://verge-blockchain.info/search

I've got some good news regarding XVG! One of the Yobit admin said that because of the fork new version of XVG doesnt work on the older platform, they will start fixing it on Monday.
