South Korea's military fired warning shots after it spotted an unidentified object flying from North Korea across the Demilitarized Zone that divides the two countries, according to the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff.
The object, which the South Korean military said was no longer visible, was spotted two days after Pyongyang test-fired a ballistic missile -- its second missile test in seven days.
It's not the first time South Korea has reacted to an object sent across its border.

The South responded with machine-gun fire after an unidentified North Korean aircraft crossed the DMZ early last year. It "immediately went towards the North," a South Korean official said at the time.
North Korea is believed to have a fleet of more than 1,300 fighter jets, as well as an unspecified number of its own unmanned aerial vehicles, according to a 2015 report to Congress from the US Department of Defense.
Two suspected North Korean drones were found in South Korea in 2014, one on the island of Baengnyeong and another in the city of Paju, close to the border.

It was probably a small unsophisticated drone from the North Korea. Anyway... now we know that the South Korean troops along the border are in a state of high alert. That is good to hear.  ;D

Do you think Un is really that sophisticated to have drones? I know it's not cutting edge technology, but I just don't think the Dictatorship would be able to pull off such a move.

Actually it was not a UFO but a balloon coming from North Korea. But it seems that the topic you posted has some missing lines, but the said UFO was already been identified and verified by South Korea as a North Korean Propaganda Balloons. Those were the North Korean defector filled balloons with information about the murder of Kim Jong Un's half-brother, Kim Jong Nam.

UFO does not mean a space craft of Aliens or a flying saucer .It can be any object that has not been identified officially..may be a missile or a stealth aircraft or a projectile

Could even be some unknown to science natural phenomenon. It's most likely some sort of UAV though. I bet even the North Koreans are popping these cheap things up like there's no tomorrow. It's possible that they've made a new one not yet known to the military analysts.

I believe the north and south should stop the military tension because they are brothers and sister they should tty to respect each other and China should warn north korea

Well duh, but the current situation makes this very difficult to achieve. One thing that must happen is for Kim to have no heir, thus ending the feudal rule of his dynasty over the North. He will probably appoint someone else in his place though.

Big obstacle before any attempt of unification of the peninsula would be the fact that North Korea is basically economically dead compared to the South and if they unite the resulting Korean country will face huge difficulties. The eastern part of Germany is lagging behind the western considerably to this day and that's considering the DDR wasn't so poor to begin with compared with North Korea.

The drones are very useful for espionage, are hard to detect and can be inserted in almost all the desired places. This has been detected because South Korea is in a state of constant alert and waiting for acts of espionage, surely they also do because all countries spy other countries. With a dron you can obtain valuable information about your neighbor country, for example thanks to this dron North Korea knows where the South Korean troops are, how many units there are and what is their response time.

Of course he might have drones. A drone can be built by teenagers in a garage, it doesn't need any expensive tech, just 3 electric engine, rc transmitter and receiver and a camera. Don't you think a country that employs hackers and builds tanks and guided missiles isn't capable of building drones?

Actually, I've seen the news about it and according to the news it's just some small cheap ass made up drones by the North Koreans. Anyway, I think it's amazing to find out that North Korea is actually able to cope up with the recent changes in techonolgy

I think this will be a recurring theme, small homemade drones are getting easier and easier to make and it costs NK very little to send out these drones and they get valuable intel at the same time as pissing off the South Koreans. Win-win for them.

If he can create Hydrogen bombs, don't you think that he can manufacture or assemble a few spy drones within North Korea? Or he can just order some from the Ebay or Amazon. I noticed a 30% discount on drones yesterday in Ebay.

Is this a sort of spying? North korea is dont know whats goin on their administrations head.If ever that north korea is really spying South korea and maybe plans to attack it could it be the end of south korean cost?

There's probably an entire industry of spies tracking attempts to trans-ship to NK from neutral third countries and Eliminating People.

World wide medias tend to not report any facts regarding UFOs, they are real and they have been seen near or around the areas where a possible nuclear war could happen. in cold war period there were hundreds of reports and eye witnesses.
This could be indeed a warning to us all, we might have a world war 3 on our hands after all, good I was bored to death.

Espionage using dilapidated drones? Trust me, North Korea is a country which is capable of producing nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles. If they want to spy on South Korea, then there are a lot of other sophisticated options.
