Is it possible for bitcoin devs or any other coin for that matter to develop more coins as all its just code?

also when a new alt coin is made can the maximum number of coins be increased?

No new bitcoins can be created other than mining new blocks.

With altcoins, they are entirely new coins so all aspects can be controlled. There are many altcoins that don't have a limit for the maximum number of coins.

The generation of new coins by a miner is part of the validation rules. Any miner can change the rules locally, but that will result in their exclusion by everyone else.

An alt coin can have whatever rules its developer wishes.

Depends on coin. I can not speak about other coins/altcoins because they have their own set of rules.
Bitcoin will have 21 000 000 coins and thats it. No way to create more.

Once coin created you can not increase their number

I think on this subject, I think there is not a question, I need a team that needs to be able to get a coin on my own, and be rich, but really hard, very good programming knowledge, and win the most important advertising and trust.

As you said, creating a platform is easy with good developers but getting trust takes more money power. Even now, many companies and banks are thinking to create new coins. In coming years this will give opportunity at the same time coin market will get more saturated.
