I agree with you, OP had made bad decision to not leave a little portiof of his amount.

This will be a good knowledge for op to always try leave a little portion to prevent if there will be huge pump in the future.

That is what we call Panic selling which always result in loss. Big coin like ETH, Dash, Ripple can never give you loss if you are patient and not sell at cheap. These coins always gonna go up with the passage of time,however a time will come when there is little bit dump but the key is not to get panic and remain patient. Trust me , you will never lose in altcoin trading if you dont lose your mind.

What if it raises even more? Then you´re at the same point again.
So it´s just bad luck.
The only way I can think of, to prevent that, is to hold it until it starts falling and sell it then.

Did you convert it into BTC or fiat? If you converted it into BTC, there is still hope. BTC is rising, even if the increase is not comparable to ETC.
If you converted it into fiat, you must be happy with the profits it has netted you.

Exactly! Wise words man. I did same stupid mistake 2 days ago with selling my LSK. Bought 3 weeks ago and it was going up so damn slow in comparision to other alts. Then it started dropping rapidly so i backed off with 22% profit. Then it pumpet at 160%.... So stupid mistake. Im still learning.

We all have bad experience as a newbie in trading.
I tried to buy a coin and after a day the price goes down.
I think I bought the coin earlier, I should have wait for the bitcoin price pump
I hope the coin I bought will Increase its price very soon.

When you do a trade and invest on top altcoin just hold half of it and sell half. For you to earn profit you may do this kind of trade. Because actually we cannot predict the price of the altcoin you invest in. A wise trader will earn  profit, but a newbie trader will always have a room to improve the performance.

Some coins have longer cycle of price changing, in this case this was 24h so you must wait at least 24h whatever you done to enter back or to sell. My suggestion is to buy back now and wait as I told already. When you see price declining sell and buy lower and wait again  ;) This is all you need to know..

Lol. You don't need to be sad, because even in life everything works both ways someone sold to you and you are also selling to someone else. I am sure to a large extent that you must have made some amount of profit no matter how small but you made something and it's time to move on to make the next profit happen. You made the right decision then and I sm sure you can make it again.

Holding the coin is better in crypto currencies as every coin is going into the bubble phase and no one knows how far this pumping will go. BTC rate reaching 2500$+ so whatever currency you are holding even the slightest pump will give you most benefits.

Everybody are in panic because BTC had "dump", i would say correction, anyway price went up to fast, and this was expected. Now if you a smart trader you'll recognize opportunity. I will sell my ETC at 0.01 in a few days from now. 

I am sad for my ETC because I sell it immediately, I made a wrong decision now. I cannot expect that their value were still running up. So sad, because if I wait a lot of time maybe I earn more amount which is I failed to do. Now I can't know how to buy again because their price we're still high.

You should have simply cashed out your initial investment and then hold on to the rest. This way you would have not risked to take a loss and you could have carelessly watched as ETC takes you to the moon too. Don't worry though, the ETC rocket might still have some fuel left in it.

Well that is your luck, find another coin to invest because there are so many potential to invest to gain profit, That is the lesson that you need to learned when you invest and do trading, as long as you already got profit then that is already a good transaction

the same thing happen to me as I don't really know what to do,I bought very cheap and was panic when the price start falling and I immediately sold my coins and now the coin is back up again,want to still buy it again but at this time the price is not encouraging but u am presently studying the market to know the best time to buy cheap

I'm facing the same sadness here. It was a huge mistake to sell out my ethereum classic coins 4 days ago.  :'(

If it decreases down to $8-9, I'll buy some. Trying to hunt on poloniex like I'm doing a double shift right there.

Hopefully, it decreases to my target price.

I hope will touch 500k and my orders get filled, this will be another pump eventually.  I will sell at 600k at least . every profit is good profit. But i hope it will reverse it and 1M will be target this time. People going crazy whenever they see movement of BTC and start doing crazy things, and sells their investments in awaiting of doom days. ;D
