Hello,

i bought 8 Msi Rx 470 8GB with Micron Memory. Out of the box i get 22 Mh/s. If i try to edit the straps i get an error every time that is saying "no cuda or opencl" found. In my device Manager it Shows that the Cards are not running properly.
I know Micron Memory is not the best but can please anyone help me adjusting the hasrate and power consumption through bios modding and wattool? If that works i will give a reward of 0.5 ETH.

are you sure that your driver accepts mod bios at all?

if not, download this:
https://www.monitortests.com/atikmdag-patcher-1.4.5.zip

rename the exe file to:
atikmdag-bios-patcher.exe

execute and reboot.

That could be possible. At the Moment my device Manager says that i am having: 16.300.2311.0

You can flash RX570 bios on those cards and get alot more hashing power

Do you think this can work, since my Cards have 8GB Memory.

@priviet What can i do after having executed the .exe? I rebooted and now shall i just try again my mods?

yes, try the mods again and reboot. the graphics card should be properly recognized.

Ok thank you first i got it up with my bios now around 23.7 Mh/s i will try some other Bios mods

You can get 28/29 hash rate from a Micron memory RX470 using the following modded BIOS settings without the need of wattool (but it helps):

Def GPU Clock: 1144 Mhz
Def Memory Clock: 2150 Mhz
Memory straps 1625
VDDC (Memory/VRM Voltage) at 925mV
TDP (Thermal Design Power) 120Watt
Set fans to keep cards at temperature of 70°C

Remove all the software you used before (like wattool), clean all your video drivers using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller, link: http://www.wagnardsoft.com/content/display-driver-uninstaller-ddu-v17065-released), then Flash your BIOS, Reboot, re-install your video drivers, and test if it works for you.

Make sure you're running on old drivers, I'm using 16.9 currently , then download the memshift or the overclock rom from here https://anorak.tech/t/msi-rx-470-gaming-x/4992
Flash it and you should be ready to go! I'm getting about 25 mhs on 1100 clock and 1850 memory. If you can get better hashrates please send me what you flashed in a pm! :)

first try this memory strap, copy it to 2000 and 1875 section, be prepared for recovery if the card fails POST.

When i do this mod, i get approximately 23 Mh/s with a power consuption of 91 Watts.





When i do this, the Polaris Bios Editor tells me that the string is not in a hex code.
