Why will Bitcoin go down this summer? Bitcoin doesn't love heat?  :D
Well, it is investors' own choice when they want to enter market and when they want to leave. However, I consider sale of Bitcoins as an opportunity lost to make more profit in future. Who was expecting Bitcoin to be $2700 but it is today. Who knows it will go $5000 tomorrow, Bitcoin is meant to fly!

hear me now and believe me later:  this is not a market you want to be trying to pick a top in.  

This is not the maximum price of bitcoin in my opinion
If you doubt sell some of your bitcoin and hold some more
because this year bitcoin will touch the price of $ 5000 even more

Some of the exchange even have come up to the 3500 $ rate. This is pretty crazy in my opinion. Because of the increase that occurred up to 1000 $ in just 1 day. I like to dream and this is a miracle.

there is still about a whole month left until summer and yet you say "now" is the time to sell! don't you think you contradicting yourself here?!

Exactly, if this thread was made 2 days ago then 2500 would be had been considered the maximum but as we can see that isnt true. This time BTC is most volatile as far as I have seen BTC has not shown this much volatility.

Sorry, I'm quite new here. But is there any statistics or history that indicates that every summer (in the US at least) Bitcoin prices drop?

I admit I was happy to sell 50% of my bitcoin stash at 2500 and then another 20% at 2700.

Perhaps I was wrong all along, maybe this is not hyperinflated baloon of hot air and the price just continues to rise throughout the year, but whatever. I've met my long awaited critical selling point at 2500 (and then some!) and I am totally fine with it. It came much, much earlier than I've expected, though. After all, you've got to pick the profit sometimes and enjoy the life. And I am still hodling 30% of my now former btc stash - that part is not about the profits anymore. Heck, I don't even need more of it. Even if 1 btc is worth millions in 20 years, I couldn't care less.

Oh, by the way I still think that this bullrun is not normal and might easily end up ugly. Very ugly.

Profit in USD? Why would you want that? To let it decrease in value in some bank?

I'd rather take my profits in Bitcoin.

No the price of bitcoins would be unstable but their will not be an epic dump it is for sure. The price of bitcoins would reach up a lot higher than expected ,well i would say to hold unto some bitcoins.

Why would the price drop when is summer in US? that makes absolutely no sense. US isn't that much of an influence on Bitcoin market though.

I see OP is literally begging people to sell for the price to decrease as the result, my suggestion to you is to get used to the ever increasing price, engine has been ignited since the start of 2017 and if you knew that the rocket still is on the platform you would be running to buy more cheap coins while you can.

And yet another troller and scammer in the house with another trashy advice about bitcoin going down and time to sell them. You are just fooling someone into selling their bitcoin just to see some drop in the bitcoin's price. And when it does, you will be the first one to buy bitcoin with the lower price.
