] I find http://www.livecoin.net to be the most users friend trading platform. Although they are many good trading platform like: Poloniex and bitstamp! I find livecoin good for beginners to learn how to trade before jumping into a big trade.

poloniex is the most convenient one, but be sure to go through simple verification and enable 2 factor authentication, otherwise they will manually deal with your wirthdrawals, I had mine stuck for almost 4 days

I am not a trader, but as I know YoBit has a lot of altcoins which you can trade. I have used this site to exchange my bitcoins and noticed that they really have a lot of names of alts.

Bittrex and Poloniex, The kraken exchange site looks bit fishy for me. The kraken is always starting the dump of the coin right now.
But I like its security tier, You will be able to set a lot of security password to make your account is safe. Rather than poloniex for using the 2FA and the security method of kraken is better for me.

Since the two to three years ago trading sites were no much secure but currently all the trading sites are much secured and we don't need to worry about the security ( if we are using legit platform to use the account ) .
Now , here I am using poloniex , nova exchange , bitrex , btc-e , crypropia , yobit.net , livecoin .
Out of these I found that about everyone is good but poloniex , Tobit and livecoins are much more better then any other exchange ( this is my personal experience ) .
And here as an newbie I will recommend to use yobit.net because at this exchange no risk to loss due to delist of the altcoin .
And also it is easy to understand and operate .

I would have recommended using Poloniex as this is the most trusted one, and is being used by the most. But lately it has been lagging a lot, maybe due to the number of users or Ddos attacks or whatever, but they have been quite slow. And there are lots of complaints about their support staff is well, so you may go with Bittrex if you want. These two are the top two at the moment.

All mentioned exchanges are centralized and you don't own access to private keys, so best solution is decentralized exchanges which are more secure and private, you do not need to leave them your ID or address of living.. But i don't know why this is not more popular.

Hello,

I could suggest you to use bittrex as exchange by making some trade in the market. Or you can also use C-cex, or novaexchange.com
For me these sites was good for me. Poloniex is good, but that was before, because there is some issues going on now about it so its not a good time to take trade in polo right now.

I've used Bitsquare before and it has some good sellers of there for certain coins, but compared to other exchanges it's pretty deserted there.
I really like the way it works though, so I certainly hope traffic picks up and they offer some more trading pairs in the future.

My experience is from about a month ago btw ;)

I've also asked this question before in the trading section, but got almost no replies on that topic :(

It depends very much on what coins you are trading. For example there are coins on Bittrex that arn't on Polo, and vice versa. And a lot of shitcoins are listed on Yobit only.

Coinmarketcap lists the exchanges in order of volume:

https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/

Go down the list and pick the one that trades the coins you are interested in.

I'm usually use poloniex , the most trusted exchanger I've ever known over three years.
Trollbox is good way to ask /share people's experience

Bittrex also great and simple exchanger.
It's work smooth so you can trade with no worries of lag and provide high security

This is because people are uneducated in most cases they think if an exchange is based in US then it is secure, and won't happen anything wrong. Decentralized exchanges are something new and majority don't even bother to investigate little more on this topic because they are busy making profit.
Whit those prices of BTC it is just matter of time, when will happen another GOX.
We need  decentralization!

There is a plenty of video on Youtube, check it out!

Soon we'll be happy to see first atomic traders thanks to lightning networks, we will be able to to trade cross chains with heterogeneous block-chain consensus rules ..This opens roads for true decentralization and more natural trade. So far only few coins can say working on this implementation (others will follow), which can change game dramatically.

I usually use poloniex but I heard some bad news about them recently. Don't know what to expect anymore
