Title: Newbie Having Trouble with CoinMama and Electrum? Post by: soconfused on May 25, 2017, 08:08:05 PM I bought some bitcoins through CoinMama. I thought I sent it to my Electrum wallet.
However, CoinMama says that it is pending and says "Please verify your wallet. Check your email inbox for a confirmation email." No email for confirmation on Electrum's part, not even in junk. How do I even know my Electrum wallet is set up all the way? I am not even sure that I used the right receiving address to get these bitcoins in my Electrum wallet. Somebody please help me, I am so lost and don't even know where to start. ??? Title: Re: Newbie Having Trouble with CoinMama and Electrum? Post by: hexafraction on May 25, 2017, 08:26:25 PM Electrum doesn't send you emails. Any receiving address on the "addresses" tab of a normal Electrum wallet should work.
It's likely the case that CoinMama sent you a confirmation email to approve the transaction. Check for an email from them, check that the address you provided came from Electrum (either Receive or Addresses tab), and once everything looks good, you should be able to approve the transaction. Blockchain is also problematic with bugs and security flaws. You should check the status of your coinmama order, and possibly contact their support team for assistance.
