Title: Price going below 2k$ Post by: Tyrantt on May 27, 2017, 12:49:17 AM Drop of 400$ in just two days and it will probably go below 2k$, is that China dumping or something else? Will it cause the mass selling and buying once the bitcoin drops as low as it will? Or will the acceptance of bitcoin in Australia of 1st July recover the price as it was a few days ago?
Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: Zaizoun on May 27, 2017, 12:51:37 AM Hey ,
This is just a correction. No need to worry . If i were you , I would buy now , as everyone is buying. Only unconscious people are selling. By the was , the fact that Australia will accept btc this summer will have a good effect on btc price :) Just buy or hold if you can Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: European Central Bank on May 27, 2017, 12:55:22 AM it went up too fast so it'll come down at the same speed or faster. same thing every time. that's how it works. if it had taken months to go from $1200 to $2700 it would be a different matter. the price is dropping and gaining hundreds per hour. anything could happen.
Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: Pearls Before Swine on May 27, 2017, 12:59:25 AM This is me the other day: I wake up, price is at $2800. First thing I did was check the price. I nearly propelled my cats out the window, so fast did I fly out of bed. And yeah, I knew it wouldn't last long, BUT I'm happy to see the correction was only $400 or so. I had a feeling it was going to be much more than that. Any price above $1800, I'm totally cool with. Cats are safe, sleeping in the leather chair. Seriously my eyes bugged out of my head that day.
Don't think we're going under $2000, but my crystal ball ain't working properly anyhow. Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: mrcash02 on May 27, 2017, 01:00:42 AM Mass selling already happened, now it's time to refill the wallets to be ready for the next round. It's time to buy now, or if you want to have a chance to buy cheaper you can wait a bit more, but it's more safe to buy now, as Bitcoin can start rising again anytime.

Everyone is thniking its going to crash. On r/bitcoin right now top post is the bubble chart vs the current market showing we are about to crash. However market usually does opposite of what people want, i see either sideways or another breakout to 5k. Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: pealr12 on May 27, 2017, 01:48:07 AM Dont you worry man ,the price will definitely go back at 2500$ within this week.
The sudden down was only made by those people that wants profit even with just little amount. Will it cause the mass selling and buying once the bitcoin drops as low as it will? Or will the acceptance of bitcoin in Australia of 1st July recover the price as it was a few days ago? It is just profit booking by some traders. If you look at how fast we went to $2800, then you shouldn't be worried about the $400 drop. If you are a long term holder, you needn't even bother looking at the price every day. I already expected that the price of bitcoin going down soon. The price of bitcoin keep going down today, my advice is it's better to sell all your coins for now. Actually it's already to big for the price of each bitcoin, but i'm sure it will stable on $2000. It's normal though, the bitcoin's price going up and down. Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: Pursuer on May 27, 2017, 03:05:45 AM is that China dumping oh man, are we on this FUD wagon again. we had a pretty nice couple of months with the same rises and safe falls without anybody thinking it is China, now they are not even back yet and you have already started the FUD or possibly just repeating the duck here! and if anything, China has caused a rise not a fall because the price gap between China and USD markets is now much smaller than it was before. This is a big decline of course. We did not expect this to happen easily. There seems to be news and negative impacts that are making the current bitcoin price drop. I do not know specifically, yet we know that adding bitcoin users should be able to increase the price of bitcoins in a stable manner. Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: n0ne on May 27, 2017, 03:46:19 AM The price has experienced a 40% fall and the same could continue to reach as low as $1470. The price then once again grows with stabilty same as that took place between the years of 2013 and 2015. Once again we will see the price surge towards $3000 to 5000 by January.

For now we have the good opportunity to buy bitcoin since it's possibility of going down is now happening, and we can observe it in the actual update of market price. We cannot control the dumps of those china people, but it will really happen due to massive harvest on their profit earnings from previous holding they had. From the start of the price increase up to $2k many planned to hold for another long term waits, but to think of it the next price spikes is fast; then it comes to their decisions to hold it until price reached to bigger profitable earnings. with that said the $2000 mark is again another psychological barrier where people are going to go crazy around it and sell on top and buy like mad men below it :) Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: rajasumi3 on May 27, 2017, 05:02:01 AM Dont worry buddy. It is rule of every stock market that the price would fall and it would go down upto 1900$.Well it is for the best and the selling price should be set when it is highest at the end of this year.

Hey thanks for the info about the adoption of Australia so there will be another major pump for the upcoming months. And with the correction of bitcoin's price, don't worry though I'm feeling bad with the falling of bitcoin's price. But with that info you told about Australia well, we just need to tune in for that. Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: dothebeats on May 27, 2017, 06:02:44 AM is 2800 a Buble? what is the reason for this drastic price down ? Price correction + profit calls made by traders who want to liquidate their btc. The sudden surge of the price to $2700 is somehow sketchy, and could somehow be a minor pump. Price settling down to $2100 or so is still good since that is where we started prior before the crazy increase to a new ATH. Some people who may have missed the train could still buy a ticket or two. This doesn't stop here and we could see another run for it, probably a more stable one after the Aussies implements their new law regarding the tax with bitcoin starting July 1st. The Drop in the bitcoin price is a sign that many are making decisions out of emotion and that is fear, they feel that they want to secure their bitcoin if the price drops, that is why we are seeing resistance right now, I say we should be calm and don't panic at all, and make this a opportunity in buying more bitcoin now that the price is making a drop and have a positive view always because even though bitcoin would drop slightly, it will always make it's way up! No decent privacy is maintained. It's a bit of an exaggeration, but I do happen to agree that Bitcoin needs to scale first in order to justify seeing its price break through whatever higher levels. But the thing is that you should point your finger to the miners involved in not allowing Bitcoin to scale. In several of your posts you keep mentioning the community and bla bla, but the community has barely any influence in this matter (they will at the time UASF becomes reality). Other than that, I don't understand why you keep mentioning that Bitcoin doesn't offer any privacy features. Bitcoin has never had any of these features, and it was not meant to have them in the future. Bitcoin's transparency is what people like about it. If you so badly need privacy for whatever reason, then use a Bitcoin mixer, or head over to certain altcoins that allow you to enjoy these features.I'm still waiting on a transaction to confirm that i sent over 30 hours ago with normal fee. If you look back at the kind of roller coaster that we have been sitting in, we have done extremely well. Everything above the $2000 level is what I consider to be a major achievement. I think this is some kind of accumulation and the next thing we knew bitcoin already break $3000 price.
Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: 1Referee on May 28, 2017, 10:28:59 PM I believe that dip was made by some anti climatic whale who wants to create a panic from weak hands and catch them before the next uptrend of bitcoin starts. Somehow they manage to shake several weak hands resulting in price going down sub $2k the other day, but it seems that the price is quite stable at around $2000 - $2100 +. I think this is some kind of accumulation and the next thing we knew bitcoin already break $3000 price. It was a correction that came just on time. In order to realize further growth, weak hands must be wiped off the table (I know it sounds harsh). It's essential that these coins flow into stronger hands, because the earlier this becomes reality, the more chances we have to realize a more sustainable form of growth. Don't forget that in current times there are plenty of so called yolo buyers - they buy at whatever higher levels just hoping that the price will continue to increase. Corrections are win win happenings for whales. Not only do they unload their 'expensive' coins, but their dumps also initiate a chain reaction of panic sellers selling like there is no tomorrow. In a short period of time, whales end up with more coins and funds after the correction, than before the correction. ;D Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: freedomno1 on May 28, 2017, 11:43:07 PM Drop of 400$ in just two days and it will probably go below 2k$, is that China dumping or something else? Will it cause the mass selling and buying once the bitcoin drops as low as it will? Or will the acceptance of bitcoin in Australia of 1st July recover the price as it was a few days ago? This looks like a correction looking at the charts a few days out from when the OP posted which is healthy when seeing prices appreciate rapidly. It looks like stability will hold over 2K for a while yet. Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: Skarner21 on May 28, 2017, 11:48:25 PM The price right now from yesterday and now is stable around $2,000-$2,100 for now its slow movement and i think there are whales who sell their bitcoin that is why the price was drop and people who are invested are afraid to invest more because of the big price drop..
Hoping that the price can be increase back soon.. Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: ImHash on May 29, 2017, 12:31:24 AM How many bitcoins Chinese have anyways to dump on us? please let it be 15M so price could crash to $200 for some people's wishes come true :D
These little Chinese people are dominating the world, everything is made in China and I blame no one but little Wu :D I'm talking to you all, if you don't want to see the price going down then after you buy some bitcoin just hold the f**k up trust me if everyone thinks; oh no if I don't sell now then others will outsmart me and sell and I'm left with worthless coins, well seriously if we all think like that then we'll never thrive as a strong community. If you are reading this I beg of you, next time you see price dropping, you be the man or lady and don't sell, drop by drop you can have an ocean, our sell off really effects the market. Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: wilson_bitbybit on May 29, 2017, 12:39:51 AM It was a quick recovery from this last fall, that's why it is very risky to trade at bottom price. You could be at the risk of re-entering at a loss.
Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: CasinoRoyal.one on May 29, 2017, 12:55:19 AM It was a slight correction but I'm happy that the floor now seems to be over the $2k mark.
Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: linkybit on May 29, 2017, 01:21:52 AM I think it is correction time, and probably stay around 2k.

If the price is seen, the current bitcoin price is creeping up, although the rise is slow, but it may continue to rise steadily. Well, I do not expect bitcoin prices to go down, but in my opinion, the more people will need bitcoin, then the price increase will definitely happen, and it happens now. Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: Question123 on May 29, 2017, 01:44:46 AM Many people said china try to dump bitcoin so last few days ago the price goes to below $2000 . But after the dumping we have pumping the pruce of will go back and it will recover again. I dont know why china wants bitcoin dump because they want their own coin become like a bitcoin. Sorry to say but china is envy . I believe even china there dump bitcoin they have many country also like Australia there to pump bitcoin. I cant wait july 1 for sure the price will pump high after that.
Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: lottery248 on May 29, 2017, 10:09:48 AM if the continuous pump, the bitcoin price would go far lower and harder to go back to the high place; pumpers need to have a breath about this rise so they needed to sell some of them before they will be able to rise the bitcoin again. the bitcoin price affects the majority of altcoins as well. the dump might be a trap to sell your bitcoins so be aware of the price. It was needed. And still need a lower correction. Around 1400$ would be good. And in 1 years BTC will be back to the top. I'm waiting for lower prices to buy a few btc. really? buying a few btc might be a $10.000 question; IMO in this trend, unless the mining fever in China has gone resulting a major crash of bitcoin price, it is almost when pigs fly to let bitcoin go back to $1400; $1900 at this moment is the lowest possible pricing in a short term. Or will the acceptance of bitcoin in Australia of 1st July recover the price as it was a few days ago? if we study the increasing ration of bitcoin we can see that the price of bitcoin is almost doubt in previous 1 month. so if ithe price drop a little bit so it is normal because the price of bitcoin has to take some correction and therefore the price of bitcoin can fell down, but after that it will agian start increasing and hope that this time we will see 30000 USE level very easily. Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: sandor111 on May 30, 2017, 03:23:32 AM Price went below that level before few days but now its started to regain its price again and in coming days we will see the price crossing $2500 level and now I don't think that price will go below $2000 again as people have started to buy which is taking price higher.

I think we are going to see a bearish trend for the next days or even weeks to come. I observed the price to be ranging in $2200-$2300 and not going up. And for me this is much OK as compared to the dipping price we see a few days ago. Maybe next month we are going to see a up trend again. I hope. Maybe next month we are going to see a up trend again. I hope. Bearish trend? Take it easy.... If you closely followed how the price has gone up recently, you'll know that the market was considerably overbought. If you discard the peak to +$2700 (it was pure panic buying that resulted in that peak), then current levels aren't really that far away from the more justifiable all time high that sits around the $2400 level. From there the market is doing exceptionally well, considering that it maintains its position above $2000 quite easily. Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: bettercrypto on May 30, 2017, 06:18:12 PM With the current drop and recovery of bitcoin price, I doubt that bitcoin will go down below $2000. I is quite stable at around $2200 but once the hype from the upcoming news like adoption of countries and big companies involving in bitcoin, the price will definitely increase.

The higher overall price of bitcoin will be the bigger corrections are. It is only natural. In the next few years $400 daily price shift won't be anything special. It wasn't China dump, it was accumulated liquidation of short positions. We will see soon bullish trend again, this time we can go even higher than $3000. The price didn't go that low and china isn't dumping their bitcoins, there was a small panic sell maybe from the people wanting to not end up in a huge loss, but the price is coming back now, it didn't blow up completely so it is the only matter of time when it will happen. In my opinion the next inevitable drop will be to 1700 dollars or somethingBitcoin price goes up, bitcoin price goes down. Bitcoin price goes up, bitcoin price goes down. Other times, the price stays the same. For all the people crying and moaning the price was rising too fast, well here's your chance to buy under $2k. Make sure you're set for the next leg up. there wasn't a chance to do that + right now is a stupid time to buy bitcoins because the price is definitely going to drop a lot when the panic sell starts to happen.Title: Re: Price going below 2k$ Post by: btc_angela on May 30, 2017, 09:42:58 PM With the current drop and recovery of bitcoin price, I doubt that bitcoin will go down below $2000. It drop below $2000 during the panic sell but was quickly recovered. And now it looks like the price is stable again at $2200. Well there will be another hype coming in, Australia in July 1. I don't know if we are going to see another pumping of the coin and reaching around $2700 or more. Let's just hope there will be no panic selling because it is scary to see the price dropping like a sack of potatoes. |
