Currently, no one knows as volitality always come unexpectedly wether there are bunch of news. I think it would surpass its ATH for the next months if segwit activatiom gets successful.

Buying Bitcoins now sounds like trying to catch a falling knife. Outch!

try buying back in slowly, watch the market and buy after the big dips and hold them. but don't go all in if you think it may fall down more. increment your buy orders and each 6 hours find the biggest dip and buy some in it. and hold for the $3000 rise.

for altcoins just buy at the very bottom but make sure to sell them as fast as you can because majority of them will continue to fall after it.

I don't think it will go lower, possibly the new floor price after $1,500 is now at $1,800. And if you want to get in again just buy now but look at the changes of the difference of all exchanges because I noticed that most of them have big gap with buy and sell. Don't miss it out for sure in the upcoming months will see new ATH.

I do agree that its a good time to pick some cheap coins but the problem is how do we know if this is just a blip? What if it will take a year or more before it starts moving up again?

The way I see it is that this is nothing else but panic selling, If you look closely at coinmarketcap you will see that Tether.to is more then 1USD while It should be backed by USD to have 1:1 value, this is because the fact that the demand is too much so everyone is trying to sell then buy when It's low.

When the price skyrocked to 2700$, this gave us the chance to appear in the mainstream media and make people more familiar with it now and the price is decreasing, this should allow these people to invest in bitcoin rather then having regrets that they didn't invest earlier.

personally I find the current price great to jump back in , but can't give a trading advice
we all expected a dump , but personally I didn't expect the dump to be that big it seems that some people are afraid and shorting
I was expecting the price to go back to 2000-2200ish but not below 2000  :)

Though, catching that knife, into mid air, and making a big pose after will really give you profit. If you predicted the price of bitcoin, and bought one after the pump, that will be really great, it is an instant profit. We don't know how bitcoin will pump or dump, but we do all know that these two is only two ways, the bitcoin price will be going.

You actually have a point there, letting them also take an opportunity to buy bitcoins and altcoins as low as they can be now but hopefully it'll get right back on track sooner too.

Well it could go lower, but no one know for sure. It is still your mindset if you want to buy bitcoin because it is going down right now. I sense that this is correction price, but I doubt it will go down $1500, that's too much bitcoin dumping in 3 days and most I think have already dump it today. So a new wave of buying will happen. So better buy it now and don't wait.

the chance of price going up this soon is not much to be honest. right now there is a higher chance of dropping to continue. this is still a pretty big drop though, so i wouldn't say $1500 because that makes it a huge dip! and soon the resistances will be proven and we can say with more certainty which way it will go.

It will no longer go down beyond 1900 usd and we can expect by the next days that it will rise up. When bitcoins value stops going down the buyers who are waiting for the lowest price will be out and will buy bitcoins at their hearts content. There is no fear even if we have a bubble since there are always bitcoin catchers that will buy the dump coins. Expect the rising of bitcoin in the next days its time to buy bitcoin now before it starts rising again.

I think this is just a retrace before the price pushes again back. In spite of the sharp drop, we are still above where we were a month back.
It is just a matter of time before fear of missing out sets in again.  :)

That is a massive dump, really, but I think it is just a chamce for the people who didn't invest, so I guess we must invest now while we can.

Bitcoin is stable, its value does not fluctuate significantly, which promises stable development of bitcoin in the future. And if you like, store bitcoin for some time and you will definitely profit from it, this is a good sign, do not worry.

No matter it goes below 1800 o 1500 or maybe even 1200$, this is an opportunity for you to buy cheap again and keep them save as it will surely rise back and those who collect it at low price would be the real lucky ones. Those who have missed the train this time, now is the time to grab it and enjoy the next ride of bitcoin.

Yeah what a dump , already buying it on $1900 .. Now I'm sure next day maybe week we will see big pump ..but I heard China will dumping hard . I don't know when I must sell it , when it goes below $1800 I always panic selling it, I don't have much experience on trading , I guess I will buy trading bot  , it seems like little profitable  ;D

I really hate to see for bitcoins price to crash it price like that in a matter of short period of time and now we are going back again to its original price wayback before on previous months but still its just fine as long i can able to purchase bitcoin now for cheaper price and hold them in a matter of months too.Just as expected the bubble will pop out and going back again on cheaper price.

I don't have a use for Bitcoin right now so I won't be buying back in for a while. Bitcoin is dumping because the longterm holders found that the price passed the $2,000 range and the people that held the coins since 2010 know that they have a short chance for them to get the money out of Bitcoin.
The transaction speed didn't help at all since the people that use Bitcoin was trying to get their cash out during the price rise.

Well the market has been up for so long so it is time for going down a while, for bitcoin it surely will up again, but for alt coin need to be careful, some of the coin will not be pumped again, but some of the alt coin provides a good opportunity to gain profit

As expected, these guys are been investing their bitcoins since bitcoin was released, they've been waiting this for years now. That is a great profit, with that many bitcoins, I think they have million dollars now. Now its time for another batch of people who will be investing to bitcoin to be a millionaire in the near future.

I would advise you not to buy a whole Bitcoin in one go. Rather buy in bits and then make a average and that's the way to earn from it, so even if it rises you make money and incase of further fall you are yet safe. Though crucial for Bitcoin users will be that it holds price of 1900$ any dip here on will cause us some crazy problems those who purchase at high rates. Brace yourself for some periods of uncertainty. Be safe and not greedy.

I'm always worried about these great falls, completely unpredictable if it will continue or will the price move up IMO, I think you better wait until the price is stabilized at a certain price for a while before jumping in the wagon.

You sure about getting back in idea? I don't think you should get back in right now. Bitcoin price is decreasing faster and faster, I think It will drop until it get back to 1500$ or 1700$, it's a better chance for you guys to get back in. And if you don't think so, you can buy Bitcoin now but don't buy too much, just buy a little bit and wait for market :D

BTC is a long term hodl and these are some fantastic prices. Definetly time to jump back in.

Yup it is a unexpected drop but I have seen some safe zone in it so the price won't gonna come down anytime soon than $1900 and as of now it is still stronger and have stayed in $2037 dollar but as you have said buying bitcoin is an OK an usual because of this drop but it will still gonna carry on pursuing the higher value just like what bitcoin fluctuation do.

Yes, this low price of bitcoin wont stay for long and i think it is time that we can buy in a lot of bitcoins. This is the best chance for people to buy cheap. Everyone know bitcoin is no going to die and also the prices will rise to 3000$ to 5000$ by end of this year. Lets see how low it gets before it start rising again  :)

The dump was very much expected. All those hikes in graphs were showing the dump is soon to come. I feel the price will keep on varying between $1900-$2300 as for now. This is the best time to buy as I feel price will touch $3000 by the end of the year. So, good profit.

I like you idea. Yes, this is a good strategy. Buy in small portion, observe the market then buy more if the dumping continues. So you are in a win-win situation and will not have a headache when the see the price falling. Also this is applicable when selling as well, don't sell in one big dump, just small portion of it.

Just buy already and get done with it. If you are here for the long term then who cares if it goes lower. If you keep waiting for the perfect price you'll miss the boat. Look at the idiots that were waiting for $30 after the $1200 crash. They didn't buy and missed the $2700 rally.

1800-1900$ is pretty possible in current moment. Just for one night bitcoin lost 400$ in it's price. I expect the drop can be even lower, like to 1500$. In this time all this slow transactions annoy me the most. I could cash out my coins yesterday, but my coins is still "awaiting deposit". I loose money in a short word.

I agree with this. A new floor will be made and I am still happy to how much it will end up.
 I guess there are a lot of people who really sold a lot of their bitcoin but we dont know if it is a wise decision. The bitcoin number is getring lower and lower and every decision now should be thought deeply.
I am not saying we should not sell because that is part of the circulation. Just dont sell all.

As expected, it have risen so fast so it is just right that it will fall back. How low will it get is the question. But I think it is safe to o buy in this level, and if gets lower, then buy again. We know how much it can get high so we know how much we can expect from our investment.

For the past week I was getting used to waking up and seeing the price a couple of hundred higher, bit of a surprise when I saw it had dropped so much this morning and all the alts as well.

Some would say his is now the time to stock up on coins before the traffic lights turn to green.

What a unlucky transfer you had there mate. Slow confirmation of transactions is really a hassle thing when we do make buy and sell on bitcoin if we are really focusing up on its price movement. Sorry for your loss and its really part on the risk on engaging to bitcoin and also blame that slow confirmation if it push on the right time maybe you didnt lose some money as of now. This is the best or keeping an eye to the possible lowest low of the price of bitcoin before we decide to buy up again.

Bitcoin always recover after correction, just like what we've been seeing all the time.
Every dip is a good chance to buy more cheaper bitcoin as holding for long term will give us many profits.
Because, we can't predict lowest price of bitcoin and it set at $1900-$2000 right now, maybe $1900 is the bottom line before it goes up again.

Altcoins are purchased by morons. Morons that are trying to get more bitcoins. If bitcoins drop, so do altcoins because these morons are really bad at math and everything is based on bitcoin prices. If you look at how many bitcoins it takes to purchase a monero let's say, you'll notice the change is within a normal range. This is because they are all too derpy to understand that they should actually be worth more because bitcoins dropped. But they aren't. Why? Because this isn't there true value, it's just FOMO. Sell your alts, get back into btc and stay put.

It can get lower depending on the market movements but I am hoping it can stabilized along that level as it can be more acceptable for all. Now, indeed, it is time to buy your favorite coins as the price is much lower than days ago. My problem is just having no funds hehe. There is indeed an amazing growth ahead for Bitcoin and even the many altcoins we got in the many markets and exchanges.

I agree it is the best time to buy back since the price is quite stable at this point.  Probably it will go up again next week.  There is no reason for BTC to go down except if there are some whales cashing out.  Transaction confirmation was the problem for a long time, I doubt that would be the reason, besides there is coming good news for BTC, and the scaling solution is coming this year.

Currently, it's on the level and range of ~2200 or so, I doubt a subsequent crash is imminent at this time, if the demand continue there is even probability of hitting $2500 or so soon, after that I can't even guess, it can continue rising as from the $1000 or fall like the previous rise.

Buying bitcoins anytime soon is both risky and might be profitable, the trend seems so stressed to the degree... seeing it at $2000 for a while though IMO.

Thats easier said than done. Im confident that a lot of BTC holders would give in and sell their coins, or maybe some of them if the wait becomes too long and unbearable. Especially if you see the other coins are moving without you.

No it will not going down at $1,200 instead of seeing the price to go down. I can say that it's very possible to see the price of bitcoin get back again. But of course for those low buyers, buy now while it is still not yet on $3k.

I hate to associate the dump with down time of a lot of exchanges. There a lot of buy order cancels during the bounce back. It's a hit on the confident but in no doubt bullish days are ahead of us.

The price is expected to go as low as $1400, but the corrective factor gaining support makes the price to gain resistance and move towards the retaining of the lost price. As OP stated many feel it to be the best time to buy back for profiting, but in reality rather than buying most users have sold their bitcoin holding on panicking.

Coinbase said it has 40,000 new customers every day. They will push up the price later.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it drop further.

Bitcoin recover faster than what we thought, and it dip around $1800  if I'm not mistaken.
Until today the price still hold on $2000  although it goes up and down quickly due to daily traders buy and sell to get profits.
I don't know whether bitcoin will go down any further but we expect it should increase again because new adopters and some companies has accepted bitcoin such as in Japan and South Korean recently.

I do not think so, there are lots of good news for bitcoin that can put bull in steroid.  This drop might be some manipulation to accumulate more bitcoin before the next push.  Let us see what the next news can bring to bitcoin economy and price.  But I have a feeling this next news will push bitcoin to the new ATH.

Sort of a clue from coinbase, I guess they will do something to make the price pump again. I'm confident that there will be some bullish very soon and there are news from different people that it's very possible to see the price of bitcoin at $3,000 - $6,000 so I guess they are already planning to implement this price soon.

I really doubt that would be true. Can you post a link that said they said they are having 40,000 new customers everyday? If that is really happening there could be something wrong going on like people making multiple unverified accounts.

Maybe an article can help to trace that out since i don't see any fact sheets that can prove to his statement maybe this is a green propaganda so that he can create little positive vibes to those people who doubting to buy some btc at this point.

But the thing is i Have still faith upon price pushing to top on bitcoins since I normally seen those downwards thing and yet earning good upon trading those fallen days.

It did not, so I hope you took your chances and bought when you had the chance even thought buying at those prices would have been great I think we are entering a time in bitcoin where we will need to take any chance to buy bitcoin when the price gets lower.
