If the price of bitcoin now, including already in bitcoin prices go to the moon, I think this is the beginning, because I think the bitcoin will reach the price even higher than the current price, so give a smile for the price now.

If you are going to read one market analyst, he predicted this price dump and said that after the dumping, the price will soon to increase and may go to moon as you said. Personally, I agree with him because if you look at the history of bitcoin, after a big crash, comes the buying back and the price rise more than its peak price. The peak price I saw was around $2800, so it could very well be that we are going to see more than that after the dumping.

Well bitcoin have reached the surface of the moon but the its ship encounters a big problem thus it fell down back to earth. Look at the sudden price deflation from 3000 dollars down to 1980$. It was the highest fall of bitcoin in history as around 1000$ or more has dropped from the moon. But we are positive that the bitcoin ship can be fixed and will try to rocket again towards the moon and beyond.

Bitcoin will continue to grow, but it will not skyrocket as the days pass. Bitcoin will grow steadily, it will go slowly but surely. And it will always be the king of all other coins.

I don't know if it will be king of other coins because there are so many good coins out there but I agree it will grow but not necessarily skyrocket. Its actually unhealthy when it pumps hard and fast because that's always when these crashes happen, after a pump.

The price of bitcoin just experienced a big dump and now it is recovering i think it is just a cycle for bitcoin for having a dump and pump and soon it will become stable if the whales where going in again and if the investors will come more than before. Bitcoin will dominate the market for the next year and the market capitalization in the market is very big and it means things are becoming serious.

The world is unpredictable, bitcoin is no exception, it has both grown rapidly and can quickly fall in value. You can say that the Moon is not the limit, but the higher you take off, the more painful it is to fall.

The rocket did  not make a good landing on the moon. The rocket is already at the entrance but an expected problem comes, the rocket is out of fuel, thats why its going back again to where its started.

You should be optimistic. There has been really gusty waves for Bitcoin all over the world. Bitcoin base is spreading non-stop especially in Asian countries. However, the rise during last week was more than real increase. It included speculative bubble rise too which sooner or later burst. But the real adoption has sustained the dump from other end and prices are again going up from $2000.
Yes, my personal opinion is that we could even see $4500 by the end of year if some buzz gonna happen in India or Australia.

Guess it needs to be refuled for the journey to moon, and it's back on ground earth. Below 2k mark already, I am positive it's a temporary halt and then it shall continue upwards. Bitcoin maybe will go to the moon but right now it is not in a good moment having fallen down from 2745 to 1972 dollars in Preev website. I think it is a good time to buy on dips, this is what I call a dip, going down 800 dollars in price. This is big volatility which I hadn't see in bitcoin price since last november.

When the price of bitcoin started to increase from $2000 then I regret that why not I bought below $2000 but today I found that the price once again is below $2000 so I am going to buy some more bitcoins as I am sure that the price of bitcoin will increase again. Bitcoin has already reached to the moon with its price a couple of days now but I'm pretty sure with its high price recently it'll probably dump (speculating) after it reaches its maximum value then starts to increase back again of course trying to overcome its new ath.

The price of bitcoin today experienced dump because many people I think panic selling but I think it will recover again after few days ago. The price of bitcoin last few days they reach at $3000 and the price as of now its $2000 . I believe the price of bitcoin will reach again at $3000 and maybe the high price will be $4000 before the end of this year. Well as we all know, bitcoin have a bright future ahead of it, at least we hope so. It is only natural that the price of bitcoin is going up. Japan accepted it as currency and as far as i heard some other countries are thinking to do the same. That is big move of bitcoin. I hope that in the future there will be more and more places that will accept bitcoin as way of payment.

Tho the whole 1000$ in just a few weeks was a great start it was kind of bound to drop down drastically aswell. Tho, I'm looking forward to the 1st of July and Australia and who knows what will happen in between, maybe some other country decides to adopt bitcoin and I'm looking at west EU.

But now we have a great opportunity to buy bitcoins before it skyrockets again for a short time. But I'm glad it's being stable at 1950$ and not dropping any lower than that.



There will absolutely be more and more places that will be accepting bitcoin as a payment. Even now some places that previously didn't wan't to implement bitcoin did. We might not even notice it but people who are using those businesses will and with those small steps, bitcoin will eventually be in the majority of big and small businesses.

many of us is predicting the price will be increase more after this correction and many traders still waiting for rebound. but i think the price now is good for us to buy because the price is really gets down for a while and its time to rebuy with cheap price. for people which have been bought in high price then they can wait for a while to see increasing price.

Price is still dropping, I don't know if Bitcoin will have power to reach $3000 for now. Two big pumps in sequence would be very nice, but what are the chances to happen? Anyway, when this happen and BTC hits $3000, the price won't stay stable on that price, depending how fast the price will increase. We really saw a good correction in bitcoin and alt coin and it is really good to see bitcoin recovering after a slight slump and it looks like the price is recovering and hope to see another rally in the coming weeks,but i am not sure how the alt coins market will hold up with the correction.

Correct, we don't know what is the peak of bitcoin, all we know is bitcoin's price is so volatile and it will continue on rising as long as the day pass by, because its population is keep on increasing, and of course if the population is increasing then the demand will also increase, that is why we can't really predict it.

Hard to predict with this astonishing price reached, don't know if the holders can keep "holding" rather than selling immediately at +2200$, I think this won't the peak for bitcoin even this year IMO, media, attention and the public stream is finally moving good for BTC.

I agree with you . When some problems have been fixed definitely bitcoin will be much better. The price at around $2000 plus, so I must hope for another price spikes and also possible dumps will happen again then after that, price will recover again.

I don't think mining fees can be reduced to amount we use like before. Many corporates may acquire bitcoin mining and earn the mining fees from us.
Confirmation time we can rid from that now also with paying the high fees or default fees on the online wallet.

People always indicate the transaction fee to be an major issue, why this is happening I don't know, because when the price was around $500 everyone were paying lower transaction fee and getting faster confirmation. Right now the price has increased so an increase in the transaction fee should be accepted. Else how could the miners get profited, if we're providing with the same when the price was around $500. Everyone expects some good earning, so there's nothing wrong with it.

The fees have increased in almost every way, first of all with a greater price of bitcoin then that means that the block reward got more valuable in terms of fiat, second, with a greater price then the miners get an even bigger profit with the transactions and finally since the space in each block is limited then the fees measured in bitcoin have gone up as well, the miners are obviously very happy about the way things are working at the moment for them.

People always shows the transaction costs into the main problem, why this happened I don't know, because when the price is about $700 people that pay lower transaction costs and get confirmation faster. now the price has risen so much that the increased transaction costs must be accepted. How could the other miners benefit, if we provide you with the same price around $700. and thus it may affect the value of bitcoin actually

but it is now becoming difficult to use bitcoin for purchasing small item of daily uses, we want  bitcoin to facilitate our life buy purchasing every ting with low fee. in fact we cannot afford to pay such a big amount which is some time exceed from the the price of the item that we are going to purchase. in fact the exchanges have increased the transaction fee more than 2000 %, which is unfair.

Lightning network should take care of this sort of thing. There are coins out there that can handle a high amnt of transactions -bitshares theoretically 100k transactions per second, nasdaq is around 30k tps, or say vcash or numerous others. It should become feasable and cheap to buy small items with btc again. Strange dynamic to ponder - if most btc transactions are sidechain lightning transactions, that allow for speed, privacy and cheapness, and any other desirable qualities that mightsometimes not all be had together in one transaction, but a sort of pick a few give up one or two - the question might ckme up, how will not havibg maby direct on chain btc transactions effect btc security and price and it's relation to potential competitors?

Getting more back to post title, Coinbase is seeking a billion in investor funding, they had 40k people joinjng in a day at end of last may, the price runnup isn't really the bull run btc has been charging for and due for for years imo, the initial runnup is causing a massive spike in investor participants, and that maybe more than anything willl drive the price up as initial surge puts btc in public eye, and tbat attracts the number of investors that will be the real driver in an increase in prices of great magnitude.

We've seen cycles rise and falls and we know it's gonna continue over and over, so price spikes like what we have now are very much welcome.

Nothing to be so over enthusiastic. There is always an uncertainty in any digital currency, including bitcoins. If you recall, in January 2014, the price was around $ 839 but it dropped to $ 215 in January 2015. Though there is a steep rise in the last few months, one cannot definitely say the price won't fall down drastically any time soon.

But under the same uncertainty principle, we should not assume that a similar drop is imminent in the immediate future of bitcoin. The fee has raised together with the price because an higher price means that more people are trading their bitcoin and with more transactions and a limited space in each block then that means more people are trying to get their transactions confirmed and they begin to compete with each other in order to get faster confirmations.

after Japan accepted bitcoin, the price of bitcoin become skyrocket, and reached to 3000$ after that the price remain stable for some time and was trading from 2700$ to 3000$ although currently the price of bitcoin is trading a little low, but  I think if we hear another good news about bitcoin, or any other country will accept bitcoin then the price of bitcoin is expected to reach to 4000$ in few days, and then we will clear see that the price is now reached to the stars.

As I predicted before it has happened, little Chinese people said something like "i'm gonna fork bitcoin and create my own altcoin" and soon after theymos (Satoshi) announced Wu's announcement in this forum price started to fall to $2127 to my knowledge, however it is going back up but I don't like when they take advantage of us this way, I didn't sell anything because if more than 12 month in this forum taught me nothing but it taught me not to be manipulated by little Chinese people.

The fact is that manipulation in the financial market has always been carried out and a simple user had no influence on this. Agreed, but most of the time when calculated the variation that happened in a higher scale and in a slow and steady manner seems the same. The reason is that with higher increase the price increase high and stabilizes around a particular region for a long, with small sustained growth the increase happens gradually.

I think that bitcoin price would start its journey to the moon only after august 1 when segwit will be activated.I think this would be the last chance to buy bitcoin at price around $2200 and people who buy more bitcoins now are making their fortune bright.

If you've bought or mined btc way back it's inception, you're already at the 'moon' price-wise. As for segwit, there'll be a price movement, that's a given. The thing is  no one knows how the market would accept that, so it's pretty much a tough time to buy IMO.

Yes,bitcoin hs more journey to go.It has almost travelled through out this year in bullish trend except some small price falls.Bitcoin deserves more price than this.It might even cross $4500 by this year end.One of the reason for this bullish trend was japan legalizing bitcoins and south korea increasing in carrying out bitcoin trades more.
