Title: Help configuring Claymore zec miner AMD GPU
Post by: Cereberus on May 27, 2017, 01:23:48 PM
I gave up on continuing on Nicehash as their software is to say the least pathetic, in some PC-s it works in some it doesn't. For the moment I have let 3 RX 480 8GB mining lbry and making about 40 of them daily which is nice (but not the best daily income for such cards). I am doing this on sgminer 5.4.0 easily configurable.

I tried Claymore Zec Miner, and I let the config file just like it was only added my zcash address from poloniex. The miner started well with three GPU-s and it says shares found up to 1993 shares yet I see nothing in my polo account, or nothing in my zec.suprnova account too.

Did I miss something, and I would really love a step by step help in configuring this miner which is looking fantastic. I want 1.2.3.4.5 points what to do. Thanks a lot.

I will try on Monday , because at home I have Nvidia rig. I am waiting.

What does your bat file look like? It could also be an issue either with the pool or Poloniex. I know that I never mine directly to an exchange address. It is much safer in my mind to mine to a personal wallet and then transfer it to the exchange.

I fixed it lately. I just copied a configuration "sentence" from someone in the Claymore official thread and replaced his username with mine and his password with mine. He was using zec suprnova cc pool and I love that pool so it is working now, saved this configuration in my D: drive and USB so I have it ready for many other mining boards I intend to build.
