Title: Selling BTC and Keeping money in account
Post by: worldmain on May 28, 2017, 10:43:07 AM
Coinbase not supporting withdraws from my country and cex.io ask everyone to scan credit card in full without censoring any numbers for verification. Is it legal to ask full credit card scan without censoring numbers?
Dodgy staff member can empty my card instantly.

I don't want to withdraw USD, is there any exchange or site which allows me to sell bitcoin and keep USD in their account, so i can buy and sell bitcoins.
I can buy bitcoins from somewhere else and transfer them to their account.

more than a year ago i was trading on cex.io and kept USD there and never withdraw fiat, i just deposited bitcoin and some altcoins, did some trades and finally withdrew my bitcoins out when they started adding their silly minimum trading amount. i never gave any documents!

i believe you can do this with many exchanges, as long as you don't want to deposit or withdraw fiat.
but the only place that won't ask for anything is btc-e.com

and remember that generally keeping anything on an exchange account is not safe.

Yobit, is one of the best options for poor people with their penny trades, you could sell and buy and hold the fiat in your account. but there is not much volume around there so it only is useful if you want to do small amounts.
Gdax as well as all other exchanges you silly :D

I am using Xapo for this purpose. I am not finding any difficulties with them. Xapo will create a fiat wallet for you when you will be selling your bitcoins with them and you can hold your fiats as long as you are preferring.

This may not be like actual trading but very similar to dealing with a personal exchanger at preev rates. Yes, you will be able to always deal at preev rates unlike any other exchange. I guess this must be a big unique advantage I am simply enjoying due to Xapo services.

(But please remember Xapo needs you to clear different verification levels based on your volume. )

Does coinbase support keeping USD without withdrawing?
