Title: Chart several Crypto's on same price-graph
Post by: Lakeluke_again on May 28, 2017, 11:04:56 AM
Hello,

I would appreciate if someone could point me to a site which has capability to price-chart several crypto's overlayed, in order to determine their relative strength, etc.

You can use tradingview or coinigy; i don't know of a method to overly candle charts but you can overly many "line" graphs of the price.
But it gets a bit messy since the Y axis must accomodate different prices, maybe there is a method to solve this but i'm not aware of it.

Just click on the scale on the top left of the chart "compare or add symbol"

in addition to that you can always export the points (data) from these sites into an excel spreadsheet usually in form of a .CSV file and then use that to do any kind of analysis you want on them. you can even add USD values to these charts and change the chart type to anything you like since you have a lot more flexibility in excel.

Many thanks.

for future ref:  https://www.coinigy.com/ is paid program; and from other reviews it seems they use the tradeview charting plugin.

https://www.tradingview.com/ does the job well and the charts are free (so far).

Yes, tradingview is my favorite too. Are you able to combine multiple coin's plotting into one chart ?
I just wonder you might need to choose similar price levels of coins for that, other wise there will be no meaning of comparing them in one single chart, right ?
Or combining charts helps you to spot any other significant advantages ?

I guess you are making my day. I'm just finding yor idea is very helpful even it is working only off line ( I mean we cannot have live charts). Still combining multiple charts into one single window will be helpful for many different analytical purposes.

Could you get me some step-by-step procedures for how to import chart data into Excel sheets. I'm looking into youtube gave but I'm not finding exactly what I am looking for.
