Title: Khan Academy video series on Bitcoin
Post by: dmnd on May 02, 2013, 10:49:33 PM
Khan Academy have made a video series on bitcoin (https://www.khanacademy.org/science/core-finance/money-and-banking/bitcoin/v/bitcoin-overview), attempting to explain what they are and how they work.

It's by Zulfikar Ramzan. Zulfikar is a world-leading expert in computer security and cryptography and is currently the Chief Scientist at Sourcefire. He received his Ph.D. in computer science from MIT.

(disclaimer: I work at KA)

A few very nice videos that explain the different aspects of bitcoin very calm, clear and detailed. Good view!

This is fantastic.  I love Khan academy.  I can't vouch for the quality of everything they post, but this guy sure has good credentials.  Probably a great link to send to newbies.

Dmnd I'm trying to get in contact with KA. Could you email me charles.hoskinson@gmail.com. I'd like to add the KA lectures to the bitcoin education project's lectures:

Agreed -- really good intro videos going into a reasonable amount of depth.
