Title: Unconfirmed transaction - sitting for 2 days
Post by: FXT on May 28, 2017, 04:39:34 PM
I'm using Coin Space wallet. First I send a test transaction and this one was confirmed quickly. I send next one the day after and I had to lower transaction fee. This transaction is sitting unconfirmed for the last two days. I'm new to BTC and I wish I knew about all the nuances with lower fees and options related to different wallets. This one does not have Replace-By-Fee option. Is there any other way cancel this transaction? Please advice. Thanks!

At first don't use low fees, especially currently because network is spamed with some transactions and confirmations are very slow, so use this website to determine fees: https://bitcoinfees.21.co
Also it would be better if you add your transaction tx here and we will be able to give you better advice. Try adding transaction in viabtc accelerator or contact quickseller for adding your transaction in f2pool.

What is the transaction id of your transaction?

Hi, you should put higher fee. And maybe you could use Coinbase or Blockchain wallet, and use regular send, then the fee would be set by them, and with that fee it's guaranteed that your transaction would be confirmed fast!

There's few options, free and paid included,

Free options
1, Wait for it (Probably a long wait depends on fees)
2, Use free accelerator like ViaBTC (https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/)
-- Limited to 100submissions per hour, submit at XX:00, the first min of every hour.
3, mocacinno (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=405464) is willing to help you submit if you're unable to do it (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1943939)
4, If you're having access to the receiving address, try CPFP (Child pay for parents, search for detail tutorial.)

Paid options
5, Use my accelerating services, which charge depends on TX size(byte). (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1934749)

There's other paid options out there, you can search yourself, but I won't list it here for obvious reason.

This is completely and utterly untrue... blockchain.info is one of the biggest culprits at the moment of low fees... and responsible for the vast majority of "help my transaction is stuck!" threads here... their completely broken "dynamic fee" system basically just set every transaction to use 120 sats/byte... when recommended fees were 300+... ::)

The only thing guaranteed with binfo wallet... is you will have issues :P
