Title: How long will I wait?
Post by: UCHCHILD on May 30, 2017, 11:21:25 AM
This is my first post regarding to the transactions of bitcoin.

So, how long will I wait for my money to come into my wallet? It's been week already and I am so d@mn bad waiting for all my transactions to come.
Because this is my first time to have a delay transaction, I have 3 transactions to wait for. I am freaking out on how can I make this fast.
That is not that big amount but I need it now badly. What will be my solution guys?

it depends on a lot of different things. we can't give you a complete answer without seeing the transaction.

the most obvious thing is the fee. if it is extremely low. like 0 satoshi/byte to 50 then most probably the transactions won't confirm ever.

if it is low amount such as 100 to 200 there is a very small chance to get a confirmation if you are lucky. timing is unknown.

if it is high enough fees. such as ~300 then it will be confirmed less than an hour.

other thing is if the transactions are spending outputs that are confirmed themselves or not. spending an unconfirmed transaction may lead to you waiting forever until the first one is confirmed.

If you post the transaction id, we can have a look and give you an approximate estimation...

It is hard to explain to you what happened since the details that you give were incomplete. You must post how much bitcoin did you buy and where did you bought it including the name of the site. After you give those datas the member on this forum will have a clear picture as to what happened to your bitcoin and can give you  the answer which suits your needs.

This image still doesn't show the transaction id's, nor does it show any unconfirmed parents/double spend indication/dust outputs... But based on this image, you added a fee less than 1  sat/byte for one of the transaction, so you cannot use viaBTC.

The other 2 transactions *could, potentially* be accelerated by viaBTC, but based on this image, there is no way to tell this with a degree of certainty..

Money fonts must be easy to earn. It is difficult to say exactly if you do not provide complete information.I think you should provide more detailed information and people will help you. Be patient, wish you success :)

You can accelerate the transactions using viabtc's paid service for your second transaction, it costs 0.01 btc per transaction however which would eat a large portion of it, their free service could work for the other 2.

The only other way to get it through is to make a new transaction using a wallet that lets u spend unconfirmed transactions and set the fee much higher so that miners will confirm both the parent and child transactions. I suggest you do a bit of reading and some googling to figure out how to do this.

With the fees you have paid it will never confirm.

There are some sites, I just forgot the link. This site allows you to push your transaction so that the confirmation would take shorter time. However, it can only process 500 tx id. per hour. It's worth it if you'll search it otherwise just wait as it will surely gets confirmed.

the site's name was ViaBTC which is a miner website and it does process 100 transactions per hour and you have to be lucky to be able to get in.
and only 2 of the 3 transactions are eligible and that is only if for example the transaction is not spending a series of unconfirmed transactions!

to OP: since you don't want to share your TXID which is understandable then you need to read this topic to see what you can do.: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1802212.0

I can say that your picture was reflecting in really bad condition.

Just try to put all of your transaction on the accelerator to put more fees to make it will have better fees.

I was surprised with the cost of your second transaction.  :o :o
0.229 satoshi/byte.

Or you can try to put on another accelerator because the via accelerator has an hourly limitation.

If its already been a week, it should have been dropped by the mempool. But usually, you can wait for the mempool to drop your transaction and it will return to the wallet. Then send it again using a higher fee.

Since we cannot see if you have confirmed input, I just want to remind you that you cannot use accelerator if your input is unconfirmed (U).

Hope this whole thing can be rectified soon as this is against the very vision and goal of Bitcoin which is faster and cost-efficient transactions. We will see if in August we can see a big difference on this problem.
