Sometimes they write near their coin and you can see approximate amount in bitcoins. Definetely not the best thing, because when the coin comes out, it can just go down and be worth nothing ;D

That's is the risk but there are numerous events that I saw some people made a nice profit out of Pre-ICO campaigns. A win win situation indeed so even with lots of research, we can't erase the fact that we are doomed at the end.

If win then win, if loss then waste of time and effort. A normal risk for campaigns like that.

First of all it's not "Pre-ICO coin", it's initial coin offer (ICO).
Not all ICO signature/twitter/face campaigns are paying in tokens or new coins. Some of them, like suncontract for example, is paying in bitcoins. So if you are scared of being payed few cent's per month join campaign which is paying in btc. If I were you I would be more worried about post quality.

I do not like it. It takes so much time for ICO. They can reduce the time but they decide to extend it by those ridiculous pre-ICOs.

I'm not really in ICO bounty campaigns. There is risk that after campaign end you will get only worthless coins if ICO isn't successful. Also, there was enough campaigns which scammed their participants and they didn't received payment. But if campaign paying in bitcoins and using escrow, then, why not. I don't have anything against such campaigns.

I am not a big fan of Pre ICO ,but since you are talking about campaigns hope you are talking about the risks involved in enrolling in their campaigns, even if you enroll there is no monetary loss only the time you spend for them is lost, but when it comes to investments i would really like to see the potential and the strength of the team before investing and if i am able to know that during the pre ICO period,i will make an investment.

ICO bonuses are scams in and of themselves.

It's basically telling "give me your money quick and I'll give you more coins I have just pulled out of thin air for free if you do".
