"Given this opportunity, we implore BTC Core developers and relevant Miners to work together and resolve any outstanding technical issues, activate Segwit, and solve BTC’s scaling issues. Our industry and the history of technology offers us many warnings, whether it’s the IE browser or the Nokia mobile phone. No matter how dominant, how much market share you have, if you do not adopt the latest technology and fail to constantly improve on the core user value proposition, time will pass you by. Ultimately, digital asset exchanges around the world can only advocate for the best technology and aim to provide the best trading experience for our clients. "

This is the concern for BTC.  Is it going to be the Nokia of cryptocurrencies?

Well, thing is, asic manufacturers, chinese bitcoin exchanges and some ( not the maximalists ofc ) are invested in both eth and btc. Asic manufacturers and the bitcoin exchanges really don't want to die with bitcoin ( if it dies ) so it's just a natural survival instinct. That's why ethereum is gaining traction in China.

The losers will be the ones who bought the memes " bitcoin is digital gold, bitcoin is store of value like gold, bitcoin is king " and so on.

Chinese are known to surprise us and maybe it's a good chance to try investing a little bit in ethereum (or maybe we are a little bit late) as the price has been increased too much in the past days.

I think that because of this news (which I consider a good one) the price can be pumped but also dumped after the high pump.

I've read that Indian exchange are "dangerous" too, as the bitcoin price has been pumped very hard recently and they put a limit of daily trading volume.
