Title: ticket #181654 Poloniex.com [SCAM on MARGIN][UNRESOLVED]. Proofs inside.
Post by: monodose on May 30, 2017, 07:49:04 PM
I opened ticket #181654 more than 72h ago but no any answer there.

What happened:
I had open LONG positions on BTS, STR, XRP.
Recently they were fully closed (BTS, STR) and a part of LONG XRP was also reduced.
I did not do these operations:
https://gyazo.com/ff83c910649a3b3b9f9311a12ad894ae
https://gyazo.com/5ef88f4b069a186beaee7bc30fa41613
https://gyazo.com/224b7812c454d04015a414cda637a8cf

I didnt get any email about forced liquidation of my positions.
I didnt get email that my Current Margin dips below your Maintenance Margin.

That was in the last email from poloniex:
Current Margin   26.05%

Btw now I have open DASH and DOGE LONG positions without BTC margin balance and without DASH or DOGE margin balances. I have on margin only ripple! But I didnt buy ripple on exchange! I borrowed BTC for long positions I didnt transfer XRP from exchange to margin. There is no such transaction.
How can I have open DASH and DOGE long positions when I have only XRP balance on margin?

https://gyazo.com/c2181366d2bb482d11c4c4e5cd3980f9

I asked poloniex refund my btc balance before margin but they ignore me. I lost about 1.5 btc because of poloniex manipulations with my account.

I have 2FA, in IP history only my IP adresses.

That's not nice to hear at all. How long is it since you sent the support message? Based on the timestamp of your OP it seems like that it's been at least two weeks. This is completely unacceptable because they should notify you via email whenever something goes on with your account. However I can't verify the validity of your claims, so I'll have to say only if your claims are legit.

There's a very low chance of hearing back from then at all. I expect them to pull a Gox or a crytpsy soon because they've closed down their trollbox and everything is a mess. If you still have cash on their site, withdraw it asap.

Also file your complaint at suepoloniex.today.

Keep sending an email to them everyday,
But do not spam, carefull because they can freeze your account and even wipe out your acount.
This's not the first time poloniex did something like this and not only poloniex.
Other exchangers also did the same thing, but they did it using another trick,
Such as deposit issues,ip address issues and verfication

Think it's about time I withdrew the last coins I have on there. Nothing much, just some VIA. I have never been stupid enough to leave BTC on any site - do your trades and get your coins the fuck out.

Too many complaints lately about Poloniex, I also suggest users start withdrawing any money you cannot afford to lose, ASAP.

Move to another exchange.

Does Poloniex have an official Bitcointalk account here? Please link if so, time they had a warning tag placed on them.

Don't think he will.He doesn't even respond to the support tickets of his clients and pending withdrawals, doubt he will bother replying here.
Community should take these signs as a warning and stop using that exchange. I've had my few coins stuck there now I'am looking for an alternate exchange.

Nope, you are quite right there. I have had no option but to leave him a rating asking him to resolve the issues users are facing. I doubt he will do anything, but will give him the benefit of the doubt in the meantime and wait and see. It (rating) will be removed if he clears up all the issues users are facing.

There are many complaints about the services provided by poloniex,

I make trade in poloniex and until now I had no problems and I would like the owner of poloniex to solve these problems and re-activate troll box.

I recently got 1015 errors right after i opened a margin position on polo.

Seems very coincidental to me.

Has anyone else experienced this aswell?
Quite weird since Polo normally works just fine for me.

Poloniex is being extremly shady these days , I would advise everyone to stay away from poloniex and withdraw their coins
I still have a pending withdrawal for over a month now , and their support is ignoring me and responding at all

I withdraw  my bitcoins and left a small amount, I do not know what the future holds in relation to the polo... I sincerely hope that polo solves all these problems

I guess poloniex.com is going to down as it was with Mt.Gox. Last months Mt.Gox had a lot of same problems as poloniex.com in these days.
I would not recommend anyone hold their assets on poloniex.com
Dont think that exactly you will avoid problems with poloniex. It can happen with everyone.
I had the fully verified account and about 15 BTC. Now I closed all positions and make a transfer on bittrex and liqui and wallets.
Keep money on wallets and only small amounts on exchanges only when you wanna trade.
POLONIEX is not keeper! When you hold money there you own nothing.

its not only a matter of leaving coin  on the exchange , i sent btc to to a trade to switch to ether but they stole my bitcoin that i just transfered to buy ether  saturday morning, no news, lost thousands, 1.83 btc and a little more they stole from me , tell everyone you know not to put their money their ; at any moment THEY can steal from your account, me we see their bitcoin address  where they took my money and probably of a lot of other peoples in the hour right after transaction was finally complete in their system, at leasst if they are not a scam, they should put a rush on the ticket of those who have stolen money and compensating everyone for their lossess ;like me i have other transactions at same time prooving i sold everything to jump in ether, its not an allusion as i miss somethng, its those guys who in fact they stole it, at that point bitcoin was worth 2800 usd and i was moving evrything in ether at 280, but bammmm poloniex is there , i dont work , i dont sleep, it stress me a lot, those guys are total ...    with the millions they do , why dont they cover this, why every exchange , major site, have good and fast support and poloniex, you can send support ticket but its like you were blowing in the wind, they dont fucn care and with this i wouldnt be surprise to see them disappear with those funds (cause they stole 67 btc at same time than me and i see the messages heres a lot of money disappearing , so instead of using poloniex you should buy lottery ticket, at least your sure to get fucked, poloniex , one day they will pull the plug,if its not whats happening right now, and a lot of people will cry , anyway , share this to everyone , money is hard to win not to be stolen by another scam company , and as i see here , lots of people lost their coin for now, and its not only the matter of loosing coin but the profit also, were all into crypto for profit

DONT USE POLONIEX              POLONIEX =  STEAL YOUR BITCOIN FROM YOUR ACCOUNT, EVEN IF YOU ARE JUST TRANSITING

                                                      BE CAREFULL GUYS

Fortunately no big deal for me, yet - but I am just wondering:

How long are you waiting for a response from Poloniex support?

i had been using the poloniex for some of the time, and i used them for trading into some of the altcoins i like. luckily i had withdrawn them a few months ago for random reason, now never thought of poloniex being late on this.

6 day old ticket sais processing but that will take another 7 days at least.
Meanwhile the incorrectly displayed BTC in my margin account I could transfer to exchange and withdraw without much problems went through right away.
I'm considering trying to withdraw the Ghost coins as a test and see if that works If that works I'm never using poloniex again.(after and If I get all my coins out offcourse ;)

Proof: https://gyazo.com/e529197200e132ab768caafac6251db9
I lost 1.5 btc from my balance and more than 1 btc as profit on margin.
Seems poloniex.com is not going to do something for resolving such kind of problems.

But there no any answer from poloniex from 27th May

Recently they changed terms and now they are not responsible for any money on their wallets. Nowadays only retarded people can trade there.

I am ready to join in class action lawsuit against poloniex.com
Anybody wanna lead it?

You should absolutely file an SEC complaint:  https://denebleo.sec.gov/TCRExternal/questionaire.xhtml (https://denebleo.sec.gov/TCRExternal/questionaire.xhtml)

It takes about five minutes and the more complaints... the more likely they will get their act together.

(Everyone should do this... not just the OP)
