Post by: boniastar on May 31, 2017, 01:42:17 AM
I was scammed by BetterNets he was selling amazon gc at 20% of their value I know it was too good to be true but I tought that I could give it a try and if I was going to be scammed it was only 10$

Here is his profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1013385

Here is his thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1936266

as you can see he now edited the content of his thread now he claims that he sells a "method" if you read the other replies you can see that he was selling gift cards before.

maybe the "method" he sells is become "rich" by scamming people win 5$ a day with this unique method!!

He scammed me 5$ I paid in btc to this address 15K6D9Ent4Hj6RZavwTadudtERzXUJv9qX here is the blockchain link: https://blockchain.info/es/address/15K6D9Ent4Hj6RZavwTadudtERzXUJv9qX

So wait.. he told you they were Carded... yet you still wanted to buy them?

Nothing like supporting a fraudster..

To be honest you deserve to get stung trying to buy carded products..

You my friend are also a scammer or affiliating yourself with such activity is a bit stupid do you not think...

The seller has been scamming people here for years, he just creates a new account whenever the situation gets too hot.

I warn people as soon as I notice him with a new post and name.

Just a pity that I didn't notice before he scammed you.

Both deserve each other,  the OP was aware that the amazon gift cards were carded, but still proceeded to make a purchase.

Unfortunately the forum is infested with a lot of people trying to make a quick buck. In this case, both individuals are greedy, and the op got burnt.

Even if they are tagged, nothing stops them from opening new accounts to perpetrate their nefarious activities. Something drastic has to be done to reduce such activities.

-snip-

Seriously? Buying carded ? I am not really against such but if one agrees by their consent then they should also know the consequences of buying such.

I don't agree you buy carded. At least not in the clear web, the scammers are all over the place. Sorry for your loss but next time there are markets with escrow in the deep web that will make sure you don't get scammed. As funny as it may sound that the deep web will not scam you , it is the truth if you follow only trusted darknet markets.

And I don't encourage you buy carded either from deep web but since it is ok with you, you keep the consequences of forbidden acts.

1) Stop writing weirdly formatted walls of text and use the proper format for reporting scams:
Code:
[b][color=black]What happened:: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Scammers Profile Link: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Reference Link: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Amount Scammed: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Payment Method: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Proof of Payment: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]PM/Chat Logs: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Additional Notes: [/color][/b]

2) If he told you up front that they were carded, and you implicitly or explicitly agreed to this before buying them, then you agreed to the risk that came with said cards. Therefore, there is no scam here.

Selling carded cards deserves a negative rating though.

Sorry if i jump in here but i wonder why OP not got negative feedback yet because he knew he was buying carded giftcards and that is the same as scamming because he is stealing from the real credit card owner but if i am wrong simply ignore my post please
