On a sudden more than 20000 merchants all around the country started accepting bitcoin and now the rest are initiating the plans to profit through bitcoin.

But this is obviously extremely positive news for bitcoin as Japan has recently just legalised bitcoin, and now that the number 1 broker in the world has started to accept btc as well it's just a cherry on top.
Other online brokers have already offered btc trading pairs for years and it's really popular as btc prices fluctuate a lot, and traders love that. Decent news? Yeah definitely. However I think we are focusing too much on forex brokers, governments legalizing bitcoin, etc. This is important but it's not as important as real people using bitcoin as a currency, in daily life, buying stuff that they want, earning an income online and getting paid no matter where they are with bitcoins.
Speculation in my opinion is nowhere as important as actual adoption and usage of btc. But still, congratz on japan for legalizing btc and companies are sure taking advantages of this. There are other Forex Broker in but I don't think it let's you make a trade with bitcoin and AvaTrade is among the top Forex brokers in the world, and I think japan is gonna make their own forex broker that may make a trade on bitcoin I really think this is an additional spike up for the community and would surely make an impact with the value of bitcoin it lot's of people would really make a trade and transaction over bitcoin. Another positive aspect of this is that the average joe type of people will slowly forget about the negativity that the media has been pumping into the world to make Bitcoin look bad. If this continues, and I definitely believe so, then I wouldn't be surprised to see Japanese pension funds allocate a certain percentage of their holdings purely to Bitcoin. This will shake the forex industry as GMO will not introduce bitcoin as well. For sure forex traders will see this as a new opportunity to profit huge because of the unstable price of bitcoin. Another cash flow will be pouring as well coming from forex to bitcoin ecosystem. Good sign that the market trend will start to be bullish again.

It would be interesting to know where this information comes from. I have almost a decade dedicated to this business and it is very usual for every broker to promote itself as the best or the greatest. By the way it strikes me that this graph only names that GMO broker and does not make clear which other brokers occupy the other spots, besides that being written in Japanese, it seems obvious to me that it is only promoting itself as the biggest one. On the other hand I do not see this information so relevant. There are many other great brokers who have already implemented bitcoin in their trading and payment options for some time. After that, I don't know if there's a progress. After reading this, I did some research. It's anybody's guess how anyone could arrive at that. Volume? Accounts? # of trades? All can be easily manipulated to attain #1 - as crypto alt markets have also shown.

And if the daily volumes are that much, then the market cap can be anywhere between $400 billion to $1 trillion. Wow! I am over the moon after reading this. Imagine what will be the global volumes, if the Japanese volumes are $8.7 billion. That amount can be close to $40 billion. And if the daily volumes are that much, then the market cap can be anywhere between $400 billion to $1 trillion. in a short while if we assume 17 million bitcoin is mined then to have a $400 billion dollar market cap price has to be $23,529 which i doubt can happen this soon without a big bubble forming! and i am not even going to calculate the $1 trillion market cap :) but this is a big news nonetheless. it will bring bitcoin to a large number of people and we can expect a nice rise in the near future.
