No cap, but still there are bonuses for buying the first XXX blocks in diminished fashion. 0-399 is 20%, 400-799 is 15%, something like this. So in the first block each 5000 tezees bought yield another 1000, second block 750, etc.

So, all TZX wont sell out all at ounce, but be sure that you wont be able to buy anything with bonuses, what will make the value-for-the-money even bigger to the whales, increasing even more the dilution of the small investors.

They will offer this to people in Switzerland outside the internet crowdsale, and all on this combined is very disheartening. There is some lack of information about how the transparency of these sales will be kept on track.

If only big venture capitalists, and inside people, get some good amount of the total of coins, I doubt very much that the regular joe will put money on this to make this currency circulate in the economy, an essential part of the success of any currency. Sad because the mentor of this project seems to know what he is doing and the idea is good, if really successfully implemented in near future. For instance, Tim Draper might have, say, 99% of coins, but he is just one vote. if there are 9999 different people holding the remaining 1% of coins, his vote will be only 0,1% representative. So no need to wait for miners' decisions to know wth is going to happen with the coin, people themselves will discuss, and chances are they will be conservative regarding changes, but not so dumb as to rule out clear improvements to the assets they hold.

What they could do is trying to implement a limit of total of coins per set of bonus block, so that more people have the opportunity to buy with bigger bonuses. In this way, the venture capitalists would need to wait for zero bonuses blocks to make their big move. The ''no cap'' is not necessarily bad, a sell with cap would surely exclude small investors, they don't want this.

 i have not seen any bounty for Tezos, too. I think they don't need bounty since it has been a hot topic.

Tezos has two major problems:

1 - uncapped ICO, so Tim Draper and the like will dilute you like a drop of oil in a lagoon;
2 - Tezos is allegedly an ethereums's competitor, but ethereum is reaching all-time highs at the moment, so not very good to launch the ICO now.

What might be the case also is some unexpected unresolved problem with the platform -- they said they want to launch it with full functionality, or they might as well be trying to launch it already superior to ethereum, so as a legit product in regard as to what they are claiming about it.

Everybody is running behind Tezos and expecting it to be the next hit.

Do we currently have true evidence that Tezos is not just an ICO with heavy marketing and support by wealthy individuals?

I hear all over the place, people are just waiting to invest.. Even people who know very little on crypto are saying "thats the next big thing".

That's emotional bubble-behavior, clearly. It might be a great success, but that doesn't change the fact small investor in the ICO will be diluted by Tim Draper and Swiss Bank pre-ICO investment. So it might be the case that the best strategy is to way until it hits the markets.

I think so, the tezos developer is not interested to make a little bounty for their participant. I think you must forget to get the tezos bounty. It will never happen as far as i know or you can try joining on the slack group.

Well, you have to understand your position (poor peasants hustling which is what we are) then after understanding that, we can do nothing but try to swing through the waves created by the big whales, and try to profit.

Tim Drapper has a reputation. Unless he wants to destroy it... I guess he wants this to work. If they buy a fuck ton, they become main players in the game. So what you do is buy, and hope you don't get trolled (they don't care about their reputation and just dump) so you'll have to hope that they manipulate the price into going up.

The question is, will the ICO be worth it, or it will be better to buy after it hits exchanges?

Im not paying high gas shit on ETH or even bothering with it. If they allow BTC then I may bite the bullet and buy some.

Can we compare approximate prices of ICO and first day listed price?
