Title: Accidentally sent $x+200 instead of $x by wire transfer in Gemini, is an issue?
Post by: Antibuddha on June 01, 2017, 02:00:32 PM
Hi,

I decided to try to use Gemini, and did a bank wire transfer with same day processing. On Gemini, I inputted I would send $x, but after setting up wire transfer I decided to add $200 on top of $x. I put in the Gemini Memo code as instructed, but ended up sending $x+200 instead of $x, and right now I'm worried if that mistake will cause someone else to receive the funds or for the funds to be lost, but I am thinking the chances of that happening is probably quite small.

Anyone had experience with this mistake and can tell me what will happen?
