Whoever is behind the attacks wants the other mining pools to be down so they can mine all the coins. At the same time they sell on the exchanges when no one else was able to mine, bringing down the price. The only reason doing this makes sense is if they planned to pump the coin after they bought up a bunch cheap and mined a bunch.

I invested 25 Bitcoins at 00417 its at 00192 right now.. very depressing no good. I suggest anyone using BTCE be careful as there is large holders who can drop all there coins in a second and leave you broke! |
