The private key is under the hologram.  It can be imported into a btc wallet

But these coins should be for collecting rather than redeeming

Sorry for stupid question , but can someone explain value of this coin? Yes, I'm understand that is silver coin and there private key with 10 btc , but why pay extra 3 - 3.5 btc to get silver coin with 10 btc?

This one will go for more than 3 or 3.5btc on top but this is more of a collectable item than its metal value and loaded value.  Just like any other collectable coin.  There are US pennies that go for $1000s but it still only a penny.

Just a heads up for your future auctions. Ever since the collectibles board opened up less users frequent this sub in search of physical cryptos. Most auctions here are for accounts and digital goods. Physical auctions are mostly found under the collectibles sub so posting there would probably get you more views and potentially more interested parties/bidders.

since all the hate here, thought i'd chime in. bitmarket.io bid on my 10 btc casascius a couple years ago, and didn't honor his bid. i'm glad he is selling now at a lower rate than he's been trying to get for his coin all these years.

scumbag imo and he shouldn't be aloud to bid or post auctions.

That honesty sounds dangerous and has the potential to turn into a robbery if you ask me. Especially when you consider that you are dealing with nearly $40,000

Should probably be fine. I met bitmarket IRL a few days ago and didn't get robbed or murdered. Had a couple drinks and shot the shit while waiting for confirmations..

 

Not sure why, but I also had a PM from this guy. Just out of the blue and no relation whatsoever to anything. We've never talk nor did I ever post in any of his threads. I just got to this thread because I followed the trust feedback left by the DT members.

As long as they meet and deal  at a safe public place there shouldn't be any issues

I would never meet in person someone for that big of an exchange,So using an escrow is much safer for that magnitude of a trade  :)

Ive done large transactions but have used police stations.  If you look up safe stations or call a local station you can ask them and they will usually let you use their lobby.  Its worked for me and both oeople feel safe.

Personally, I would have no issues shipping a Casascius 10BTC if the buyer was in the USA. Registered mail is the safest shipping method you can use and this is close enough to the insurance limits.

It has been a while, I have not heard from you, and dazedfool seems to be in possession of some of the coins you committed to selling to me...
