Title: Buying 1.2 bitcoin, possibly looking for a trusted member as a middle man!
Post by: Pajulapoiss on June 03, 2017, 04:13:36 AM
Hello,

Looking to invest in bitcoin and try trading on crypto markets aswell.
I'd like to buy 1.2 bitcoin from a trusted user, can someone hit me with somekind of a deal?

The reason im buying through here, is Australian gov charges extra 10% GST on top of credit card charges, which is about to change on 1. july, But I'd like to be IN by that time.

I can pay by skrill or bank transfer, located in Australia, have commonwealth bank. If these are not good options we can work something out with the seller.

You don't really seem too trustworthy to be honest.

Let me know if you can do Perfect Money in USD.

Maybe. It would take me up to 5 days to get money on PM account.
Any faster, while still cheap, solutions?

Any other offers?

I can do this, if you are able to do a cash deposit instead of a bank transfer. Reason being that bank transfers can be reversible even though it is unlikely and cash deposits on the whole are not.

I can also accept cardless cash codes generated from Commonwealth or westpac apps. Preferably westpac. I don't need 1.2 btc though only a hundred bucks or so. If this is too low then go to localbitcoins, you'll find people selling bigger amounts there.e

I would rather get the full amount from one person, thanks for the offer tho.

Skrill has no more escrow service, this service is not active anymore since a very long time you can simply use localbitcoins or paxful those websites have built in escrow by default and you are usually safe there!

Skrill is not an escrow provider.
I can sell you BTC if you can send me funds in GBP to UK Bank Account.
You can use TransferWise for sending money from US to UK.

How much are you paying for the whole lote ? How do you fund the Skrill account ? Is it with Credit Card ?  Because it may be a high risk trade if you do I think if you are so kind of replyng to my questions me or anyother trader can make a  reasonable offer.

T & C from skrill's website :

13.1. Payments through us may be made subject to our Escrow service. This allows you to make a payment to a recipient conditional on your approval of the transaction at a later time.

13.2. Additional terms and conditions apply to the use of the Escrow service. More details on the Escrow service are available on the website. If you opt for a payment through the Escrow service, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions which apply to the Escrow Service in addition to these Terms of Use.

13.3. Our Escrow service is not provided as part of the Skrill iT money transfer service where the recipient does not have a Skrill Account and therefore sections 13.1 and 13.2 shall not apply to that money transfer service.

That's what got me thinking. I sent their support email to get some answers.

I guess I could do transferwise, but I think +8% is too expensive. I would give this more thought, if we could do it 1:1. Since I will be taking the risk aswell.

Say 4000 AUD for 1.2BTC. SKRILL has some kind of instant payment with 1% fee through commonwealth Bank of Australia.
