There are 2 versions of our Windows wallet, one with CPU mining and one without. That said, you don't have to use the built-in CPU mining in the wallet, you can use something like CPUminer instead. The lack of a good wallet make me suspicious this is kind of an insider's game, like the techies in the know can benefit but it makes it harder to use. Why encrypt a wallet and then not have an option to unencrypt it for staking and mining? I'm still learning, maybe this is done in the console?
