Title: Too high power consumption Post by: Valgard19 on June 05, 2017, 11:10:39 AM hello i had before 1x rx570 msi armor in my mining and it take at wall 167W. now i put only 2x powercolor dragon rx 580 4gb and they take from wall 390W (without the rx 570) that is not too high ? I expected consumption ~ 330W

Default consumption is of RX 500 series are quite high. I expected consumption ~ 330W Download saphire trixx n play with the volt to under volt it. It helps to bring down the needed power. Also read up other topic on bios mod too. Title: Re: Too high power consumption Post by: BLife on June 05, 2017, 11:42:48 AM I believe the default power consumption of rx 580 is slightly higher than rx 570 by about 20w(I might be wrong) but I am sure they where higher, I believe that explains the higher power draw at the wall.
