looks like it. I fell asleep last night with 2500$ price and now I saw that it's already 2800$ . Volume also is rising so I think it's possible for it to cross 3000$ , nay not be stabpe but it'll be another acheivement for btc this year. Things are going fast for bitcoin. What a good year.

It sure looks like it. I know we're sure closing in on it pretty quickly today. Hopefully we'll see the $3,000 tonight and a bit more growth tomorrow. You guys wanna see $3500 tomorrow? Lol. I know I wouldn't mind it

IMHO, Bitcoin will hit next peak  near $4000 and have another correction that will be the next buy the
dip opportunity.

Its closer to 3k and its showing a big support showig all the alts are moving down so i guess it will be push to its another ath and will stay at the top good to have some btc stuck from our wallet and wait for the big jumped up hold your btc now and enjoy the result.

Seems like BTC is dropping.

I reckon people are expecting a tank and will go into ETH when it's dropping.

It is possible it'll reach 3k tonight though because it's closer to that price already. If it does and it'll reach 4k then the correction is near too, and expect the big dip.

i find it interesting that ethereum bagholders always find a way to insert advertisement of that coin in every comment even if it is completely irrelevant!

and i think you need to look up the meaning of "drop" first and then make a comment about dropping. price is higher compared to previous days and that doesn't say drop! :)

I didnt expect btc would go this fast.
It is pretty amazing if btc can go to 3k,
I think it would reach 3k but it would not be tonight,
if the market stay bullish so it might be possible in this week end.

I am also surprised with altcoin.

I just looked at the price of bitcoin. And WOW! I was surprised. Its already on its way to $3000! What happen? I wonder how it pumps like that. Any news why the price surged. Again, it will create a new ATH any moment. Altcoins again will all be on red marks  because of this. I think i will just pull out my money on altcoin for a moment.

The golden time is here and the market cap has touch the billion dollar mark which is really huge and the price of bitcoin started another rally and expecting it to break the $3000 value with this rally and it is a good time for all the bitcoin holders to see the price soar this high.

Amazingly, within a month we have seen $2000 is a new stage for us and probably later $3000 will be our next phase but sometimes FUD and other things make price crashed so don't be panic and stay calm to see the price.

I think we will just have to wait and see if it''ll reach the 3k price tonight. Just hold on tight and keep our eyes on the marketcap and see if it will hit the 3k price.

we have seen an incredible rise on this day after Christmas. it's not certain how long this will take. I no longer think we should consider a higher target. for example, the end of this year by $ 5,000.

Things look bright for BTC this year

We are definitely going to see two things happen today..
1. This btc price prediction just might come true
2. By virtual of getting to the 3000 dollar mark, we register a new all-time high bitcoin price

People better act fast while bitcoins are cheaper, last call everyone :)

What the fuck ?! Just yesterday it was at 2500$ and now we are close to 3000$ ?! I remember those people saying that fter our little crash to 2000$, this was the end, that we were going to 1500$. Now I am glad I did not listen them !

If bitcoin breaks the 3K tonight maybe this year the 4K to 4.5K is possible too. The movement could be faster than we thought. Any which way, up or down and up again, investors are gaining good profit already.

I'm most certainly not a "bagholder". Once BTC starts dropping it would make sense for people to go into ETH as they don't want to risk losing value holding BTC. And it once BTC starts to drop/drip ETH will rise.

ETH is a good investment too, but right now I am afraid the focus is on BTC.

Bitcoin once again failed to breach $3000 as the price went up till $2900 but now the price of bitcoin went down trying to breach three thousand dollars and now it is trading just above $2700,it looks like we need a much higher push to cross the resistance we have at hands.

It does not matter if the price is 3k or not tonight. The price is be $5k later this year.

Nope. Not yet. Maybe in the next couple of days we are going to get to $3000. This will be another milestone for bitcoin price, new ATH again. So I'm very optimistic that $5000 in the end of the year is possible. Japan and China are really pushing the price of bitcoin to new heights. Hope it will be sustained so that we will finishing the year with a strong price.

Hum missed it again! I did see 2993$ on coinmarketcap and I was ready to do a print screen of 3k, but oh well next time!

It did just hit $3000 mark and setting up the new ath but sad to say that it dropped down -$300 in a span of minutes which i can say that we should not really forget the bitcoins price volatility and anytime it can drop.It bounce back again on 2900 mark and going down as of now and currently on 2.6k mark down.Its really a sign of weakening trend.Hopefuly it would touch again on 3k price.
