Title: BTC-E SCAM ALERT
Post by: fallenheroes on June 06, 2017, 04:45:45 AM
I did a wire transfer to BTC-e, the first transfer worked without incident.

Two weeks later, however, I elected to send a second wire transfer. I had BTC-e's payment details saved in my web banking, and merely had to verify their details on BTC-e's deposit page, as well as, insert reference details, into the transaction. Everything was, and still is, perfect about this transaction; I've checked it many times; and my bank claims that the wire was a success. Despite this, the payment was miraculously lost. It has, thus far, been over a month, and has not been credited to my BTC-e account!

BTC-e will not respond to me at all. I feel that I have been completely reasonable and respectful with BTC-e, and it seems quite unreasonable that they would choose to merely cut me off as soon as I present an inconvenience.

For these reasons, I think it would be a mistake for anyone to trust BTC-e, especially when it comes to depositing funds with them. If anything does go wrong, you can expect them to merely abandon you!

I do think that it is not safe anymore to deal with BTC-e. You'll be absolutely astounded at the scam accusation section of this forum, and how many BTC-e complaints there are out there in this section in question.

Since they don't have any sort of mobile number/landline for you to call, your only chance of getting your money back is to try to get as much attention as possible. Keep requesting for your deposit to be credited on the trollbox(will probably get you banned), keep trying to reach their support even though it seems unlikely they will respond. In the end they'll probably resolve it, they're just really slow with things.

Good luck!

Feeling your pain
I did my first wire transfer of just over 1200 usd  12 days later still no correspondence or credit to my account

I have completed two wire deposits to bitstamp and both have landed  whilst I'm still waiting for this one,
back to bank and lodge investigation tomorrow
grrrr
cannot recommend btce at this stage, and the lack of support adds further proof of pending scam

Same boat for me too.  >:(

First ever wire to a bitcoin exchange. I had such high hopes to make some money as I'm a student. I sent a wire transfer to BTC-e 18 days ago. I've been contacting their support team for the last week but they just ignore me. Nothings been credited. Though I check the damn thing twice a day.

I'm assuming theres no financial oversight on btc-e whatsoever, so not much can be done other than to get the word out and prevent others from falling into the same trap. Its probably their business model: rip-off one in twenty or one in thirty deposits.

this guy is offering a $10,000 reward and he and many victims are posting on the internet instead of hiring a good lawyer and report their problems to the police?

what results do they hope to achieve by posting on the internet?

another thing, they delivered their true documents on the btc-e site, people should be careful who to deliver their documents

Looks like he is out to destroy BTC-e or Wex. They want to destroy the credibility of the exchanges by posting it to different social media and even offering money to put pressure to Wex. I understand his situation and others and its really frustrated that after giving all the necessary documentation, you account is still blocked. And that is why he is resorting to this smear campaign to get Wex's attention. He didn't mentioned how much funds he still has in that exchange but I bet its more than half of his life's saving is in there that's why he is fuming mad and has every right to do so. I don't know about the lawyer though, will it cost him $10000 or less if he hires one?

Dear all,

My account is verified via xbtce.

My wire transfer at 21 & 24-jul-2017 transfered to BTCE via Moneypolo 110k USD successful but BTCE is died and not credit, after Wex.nz recreated and now it still not resolved and I don't hear any info about my money.

My money not credit to my account in Wex.com. I created a ticket with supporter and answer from them: Contact to Moneypolo to refund.

After I created 2 tickets with Moneypolo & Moneypolo don't answer my ticket & I don't have any info about it.

They are scammers. How can they refund me? Who like me?
