Title: The Number Pi - An amazing discovery that's shocking the world!
Post by: Gleb Gamow on June 06, 2017, 07:44:17 AM
Link bait aside, look what I just discovered.

Every digit of Pi can be represented as a sum or difference of at least two of its previous nine digits as demonstrated below. I'm not sure what the limit is - 8 previous digits; 7; 6; etc. - but I'm heavily leaning toward 8 being a possibility.

3.1415926535897932

3.14 ~ (3 + 1 = 4)
3.141 ~ (4 - 3 = 1)
3.1415 ~ (1 + 4 = 5)
3.14159 ~ (4 + 5 = 9)
3.141592 ~ (1 + 1 = 2)
3.1415926 ~ (1 + 5 = 6)
3.14159265 ~ (1 + 4 = 5)
3.141592653 ~ (1 + 2 = 3)
.1415926535 ~ (1 + 4 = 5)
4159265358 ~ (2 + 6 = 8.)
1592653589 ~ (1 + 8 = 9)
5926535897 ~ (5 + 2 = 7)
9265358979 ~ (2 + 7 = 9)
2653589793 ~ (6 - 3 = 3)
6535897932 ~ (5 - 3 = 2)
