What is the cheapest place to buy eth?

i have to say you eth fanboys are pretty annoying with all the repeats spam here. It used to be monero fanboys who spam this section.

Theirs no place where you can buy cheap eth since all exchanger site have similar price on their trades but if you want you can go on those exchange like bittrex and wait for the dump so that you can buy some cheap eth if that scenario will be happen.

That's exactly what I wanted to advise him if at all he is serious with it and not trolling as someone tlhas rightly noted. Looking for cheap place for a coin like ETH is going to be really difficult and if you happen to see one lower than the rest, it will just be marginal and also be care not to be deceived by anyone going far below the general price level as this is equally a red flag of a potential scam without looking back.

obs 1 : Rest assured that I only buy from company known as poloniex, coinbase, gemini, etc.

obs 2 : There are places where the quotation of eth is smaller, then you end up paying less, for example: the BTC-E where today is worth $ 256.01

bittrex same as poloniex, bittrex trusted exchangers. even you can get cheaper there, because of the difference in price bittrex with poloniex is always cheaper than poloniex.

I ordinarily disregard this type of question simply because it is an half cooked question, asking What is the cheapest place to buy eth? is totally wrong but you should ask WHERE not WHAT.

Then what type of currency do you want to buy eth with ? is it fiat or crypto etc.

Kindly ask a constructive question in order to receive a good answers.

A credit card is tied to a bank account, so if you live within European Union, the place I would suggest would be Kraken, I like to trade there and fees are relatively low.

The best place would be an exchange like poloniex and bittrex. You would be able to buy at low price when the value goes down, and FYI the value will be about the same no matter from where you buy, there won't be a place to buy it at a cheaper than its actual value.

There is no “cheapest place,” however there are “cheapest times.” Simply watch the market and wait for a dump, otherwise most all markets charge the same price.

Actually there are no place to buy ethereum in cheap price because around the world know about ethereum's price

many traders be agresive on there you can take chance to buy ethereum in cheap because of the panic selling on there.

Just check out coinmarketcap and make a decision on which exchange has the lowest price and then there are local exchanges where you could get your coins with your local currencies but i have not seen a list about those exchanges yet but i have heard there are exchanges ,it all depends upon from which country you are from and check for your local exchange for easy transactions.

Yes, it depends on the country you live in. But most of the exchanges trade with the same rates with hardly less margin in the rate difference. Choose the one which is best for yourself and start trading. Poloniex and Bittrex are the most popular ones, try them out.

i think you need to search by your self so after you found every the market exchanges available for ethereum, you can comparing the ethereum price and then you can decide in what market exchanges you want to bought eth. i think if you want to make arbitrage trading, you need to thinking about the times to sending the amount of the ethereum from one market exchange into other market exchanges so you can get the profit.

then you need an exchaange, you can try on poloniex or kraken, they are the best exchange now in terms of volume, but credit card with a bak account connected can only work, no other credit card without bank account, those won't work, for example those polish credit card that are anonymous and shady i don't think will work

Don't buy it from coinbase, any exchange is actually good and about equal in price.

Coinbase has high fees and may cancer your order if they seem suspicious or for no reason at all.

Rather than you choose the cheapest place to buy ETH, it would better to check the security and volume on each exchanges. You can try Poloniex and Bittrex, Coinbase is okay but based on the posts above so it's not recommended.

I don't think it is good idea to buy Ethereum directly with bank. Firstly you should purchase bitcoin as there are numerous options available for it. Once you own bitcoins then search among various exchanges here-

and accordingly make decision.

I am a US resident and have been using coinbase. Today i got raped by fees, i ended up paying 270 per ether when the price was at 255.

If anyone knows of another place where i can exchange USD-->ETH, or just simply get around paying these ridiculous fees, please share!!!

I think all Eth price is same in all of exchange. So you can try in bittrex and poloniex to complete a good transection.

Kraken may also turn up to be good to you because there was this moment about a month ago when eth cost $90 but on Kraken everyone started panic selling, so the price on the chart went straight down then. Kraken's price depends on Kraken's users only and so such kinds of local trading sites might have the prices you won't see anywhere else. But for such a good time one needs to wait, so good luck and be patient.

I think the best place is on the kraken exchange. Remember the last correction has happened on the kraken exchange. That's why kraken has a lot of gap with another exchange site such as bittrex and polo.

Never try to buy on the Asian exchange if you don't want to get the maximum price of ethereum. That's so funny.

I will try to recommended you to put your spider web on kraken. If there are some whales try to dump it on there and you will able to buy on the cheap price.
