there are so many different crypto currencies.

Can someone suggest  me in which crypto except Bitcoin is worth to invest?  :)

Nobody will give you the same answer. There are so many projects around that it takes s many hours to study it.

The Top 20 coins have already risen... They could drop just as easily, which makes them very dangerous to invest in.

Newer coins on the other hand still have to rise, so they can give tons of profit!

Example:

You invest in a coin of $200, which then maybe gains $50 making it a $250 coin. +25% profit
OR
You invest in a coin of $0.01, which then maybe gains $50 making it a $50 coin. +500,000% profit

I recomended to invest in ethereum to taking short profit in trading altcoins, the fluctuation of price is nice to getting profit
you just needs to know analisys technical before buy and sell it,
But if you want take long profit the stable price of altcoins is ETC and the value of ETC will be going up
it is good to put the funds in ETC.

There are a lot of cryptocurrencies that are promising and I'm sure we all have different ideas on which altcoins are worth to invest, it is entirely up to you whichever you feel like are promising based on what you read about the coin. Choose the top 10 coins first in the coinmarketcap website and do a research on those coins, don't just rely on what people tell you or hype you on which coin because in the end you might blame them.

Choose a crypto that has good growth. As other members suggest to see https://coinmarketcap.com/ and choose the top 20 coins, that's true and it can be tried. That is more promising and can generate big profits. To my knowledge, crypto other than bitcoin worth investing and promising is ethereum, I also use ethereum and the profits are also good.

Ethereum and Zcash are two most promising crytocurrency for now and maybe others coins will come up in future. I see investment in this two coin at this infancy stage will make you a millionaire in few years from now.

I constantly come across posts on the same subject and almost never see Decred being mentioned for some reason I do not know. But IMO Decred has a lot of future potential ahead.

No, no one will, and whatever answers are given will be for whatever coins people are trying to promote.  And most of them are complete shit anyhow.  OP, don't listen to people here.  Or at least search the forum for your answer, because this question gets asked about 100/month.  Stick with bitcoin and you can't go wrong.  You start buying crapcoins and you're going to go broke.  Guaranteed.

If you are looking for a big altcoin my answer is ethereum classic. If you like taking more risk and you also want to invest with a little part of your money to a small market cap. trusted altcoin my answer is Belacoin. I am sure you know ethereum classic. But Belacoin could be out of the ordinary for you and for many people. Their dev. team now try to develop an application like Instagram in which you will use belacoin for like someone is photo. Or you can earn some belacoin if someone else like one of your photos.

If you are looking for a totally new project with big potential I would suggest SONM project. It has features that no many projects have these days, like scientific computing, drug research, mining with a new algorithm to replace PoW.

I think it is Ethereum. As it is very popular (after bitcoin) and fast growing coin.

CLOAK looking extremely promising and undervalued.

My holdings... Bitbay is undervalued as is xtrabytes, pascalcoin, and VIA.

Siacoin (SC) seems to be following my DGB still waiting for him. While affected BTC rising prices. I'm sure 1000 sat.

I've tested the ethereum for long time investment and i think if someone invest on ethereum they will regret on it but you will need lot of time to wait.

There tons of coins now.
If you want the best one, only one coin, I dint think there ll be the best one.

If you would like to have a safe/less risk then you have to try 3 or 5 highest market cap.

If you wnat to have a more challenge, go to get small cheap coin with hi-tech idea/value.
It is high risk, be ready for the surprised.

If short trade, you might regret but ETH is fr long term investment as far as I know. ETH has so much token in its platform, which will demand eth gas for its transaction. Eth create its own demand on its ecosystem, a wise idea by its devs.

ethereum is the most promising coins  now. hoping that it will rise too high like bitcoin. well just dont put all your egg in one basket . there are so many potential coins out there that will surely boom in the near future. invest now like 100$  then if you gain 25percent of your capital. its a good sign already

For me ETH and litecoin is the most promising because there are investors claimed want to build a project using those coins, but it is really hard to say whether it is promising or not because alt coin is very hard to speculate,one day the price is good the next day people will get rid of it

every person has their own choice. they are taking and studying different altcoins from different aspects, to me my first altcoin choice is Etherium. to me  think etherium has good potential to increase more in future, its future is really looking too much bright to me and i am sure that investing in Etherium will surely give good profit in the end.

Give it a try and buy Zeitcoin, it is a coin with high circulating supply.
Almost all coins with a high circulating supply have been pumped once or more....except for ...yes Zeitcoin.
The developers are still active and busy...when they release new stuff it will pump ;)

Ethereum looks like a sure bet

All the project have or claim to have some form of prospects one way or the other but the onus is on who ever will be investing in the project to be able to do his own due diligence before investing because the gain and losses by you and not those giving the suggestions.

xvg is still undervalued. but if you ask for safebet, etherium is the right answer but you should consider  Wawes as a second option also.

If I were you, I'd pick coins that seem to have a solid vision and a clear, long-term goal. Be careful about blindly investing in new coins and keep in mind that we're in an extremely bullish market right now that won't last forever. Many of the coins that have been pumped recently have been pumped as a result of speculation regarding their future use cases. That's fine if you're in this for the short term, but if you plan on investing into something that is likely to consistently grow in value, be careful when you pick coins to invest in. Good luck.

No cryptocurrencies are promising because all coins had no assurance for the future. Some coins were success, some coins are not, some coins are earn income, some coins are bankrupt. That's why all crytocurrencies not promising for assurance.

Many projects are promising as for failing, for me that can fit is ethereum, but it all depends on their choice

Aragon is by far the most promising coin/token currently available. They have a great dev team, great idea and the project is full of funds. Plus its the only one with those criteria so far that hasn't been pumped to high heaven.

Other than that the best course of action is to go for good ICOs and there are many promising ones currently out there.

ETH is the most promising. The price is going up continously. even it is down for a moment than rises again. ETH tokens are also succesful. There are some tokens are listed in Bittrex. Bittrex is one of the most trusted exchanger. Eth price now 0.093 above. It climbs up and will reach 0.1 soon. I predict next month the price will be 0.1-0.15 at stable price.

I'm not a fan of siacoin but Golem and Aragon are definitely a large part of my portfolio. I also have Stratis, Ark and Wave.

I think Aragon and Wave are currently the most promising of the lot because their price hasn't pumped too much yet since their ICOs.

Yeah , due to many numbers of the altcoins we have confusion whether to buy which which or not not .
But with the spent of time you will make real profit .
Today my suggestion for you is that buy 1337 coin , bcn , Sia coin , dgb , xvg  only if you can because all these altcoins
Have good signal for the increase in the price .
But be careful that trading is a job of risk , so if you invested any amount in any coin then you should be sure that you can
Bear that loss in case of the coin became dead .
And my suggestion for you is that don't get panic for the down in the price , wait until.you make sufficient amount of profit .

I think it's good to invest in altcoins which has its own platform and blockchain such as ethereum and waves. These altcoins have a larger potential to grow like bitcoin and could also overcome bitcoin as sooner or later they can be converted into fiat money vice versa wothout converting into bitcoin vice versa.

I suggest you to invest with monero ( xrm ) and ripple, there's action price and stable volume with those altcoin. Besides that's, the price is still below ( cheap ) so with invest 1 btc you'll get enough coin. Invest with long time period and completed with stop loss is rules, you have to make it. I don't recomended eth, the price too high and volume start lower. Remember, invest only 40% from your money and always patience. Good luck.

Why Zcash?

In my opinion all the cryptocurrency which has big trading volume are most profitable altcoins .
Here in my list eth , dash , ripple , monero , dgb , pivx all these are the better altcoins for the buy and hold
for long time , because here eth himself rises about 10 times the original rate in December 2016 .

In fact all the cryptocurrency I think it has the same level in terms of profits, since it also depends on our needs. An example is a digital currency, ethereum has a promising thing if indeed we can patiently wait for quite a long time in his Ascension. It would be much better, for profit then follow some ICO which is quite profitable. As of now this much sufficient ico has the potential beneficial as SONM, Polybius, Monaco, Mobilego, and so on. You are looking for a profitable place only
 

Thank you, whoever recommended blackcoin to me. The original proof of stake coin is doing well this morning. Others I like are VIA which is a litecoin like coin which is implementing a lot of new features, xtrabytes with the static nodes, pascal coin with the blockchain trimming technology, bitbay with it's online marketplace, Ark, Shift, and BitSend.  Obviously I'm going to recommend coins I own like everyone does. I try to do research to cherrypick the best.   I tend to miss pumps of crap ones with good names because of that (litedoge for example)

I personally hold btc, eth and xmr, and small amounts of a few others. If I see any interesting coins gain momentum I'll consider adding them to my collection.

I would like to recommend the QUTM because I think it will be "the next ETH" in investment aspect.

Guys a coin with potential is not the same as a strong coin, it is merely a coin that could become strong.

Stratis isn't there there, neither is ARK, neither is Sia, and sure as hell SONM isn't there yet.

The have mighty big shoes to fill, and filling those is not guaranteed.

Ether keeps outgrowing its shoes, Ether is the safest bet if you ask me.

BTC has nothing to do with shoes, just with sentiment. It's nr 1 because it was nr 1, now there is 0 reason for it to  be at the top except for sentimental reasons

all the cheap coin are promising now, they are all pumped, i like to hold these cheap coin, real potential is everythign now, everything is pumped, i'm going to hold several altcoin, 1% each just to have the best odds if soem of them increase a lot, but i really like for now netko, bitcore and spreadcoin, they look very promising and will increase a lot in the future

ETH and Waves for sure with so many new projects using those two contracts so ETH and Waves have more development also the price will be pumped when the project is successful where there are lot of demands when ICO phase.

I agree Zcash has small chances to stay around. Why? I think the main reason is the infamous huge 'genius tax'. Mostly people say that eth is the best, some also mentioned ltc. I agree with them. However, ltc is more promising in terms of earning big money, because it is still cheap. As for eth, I got some of my stolen which makes it painful for me to look at prices nowadays. But yeah, at least it is already used.

You should know few things before you could invest into coins. Choosing a coin is important for long term investment and profitability. You should really take the reference from atleast few of the well known exchanger sites and tradings sites. Always look for mostly pumped coins withing 24 hours and also seek for one week graphs .
This analysis will get you most profits and trusted coins. For now monero and ether are best option which i would use. These coins are trusted and will be blooming soon.

BTC even is pumped is proven to recover over time while 99% alts can not do it at all

It is a good thing to base your investment on the market wherein there is a specific top 10 crypto-currency that has volume and stock on the market. Hence , if you want to earn more or to have a new kind of token to invest with the best thing to do is to support and to apply on a signature campaign alts. The thing is there is a new ICO project where in it can be released on the market when the whole project succeed. So you will need to support the project in order for it to be successful and to earn new token that is suitable for the platform of trading.

Could you mention few promising cryptocurrency? Because I got only one or two. I also do that, the joining of signature campaigns,twitter, Facebook and the like. I always have my support to every campaigns that I am with and I like earnings coins. So someday if I will be more knowledgeable, I will know the promising coins.

I think Monero and IOTA are very promising. I believe Monero is the most private coin out there and IOTA is very ambitious in the IOT space and has zero transaction fees.

What do you mean? Where did you get that idea?  BTC is the one that has the most demand in the market always although I do not think I can say the same of LTC.

ETH is the best choice for you

LTC is another worst coin, because the features never gets any improvement by the way. Litecoin always be copied the same feature with the bitcoin and as far as i understand if the litecoin just an experimental to make a test about the implementation for the bitcoin improvement. that just experimental coin.

Well, anyway, I suggest XVG, SC, Ripple, Strat, Status, Monaco, OMG, DGB. These are some of the trusted coins. But it would be better to look for more yourself.

Ethereum have a potential for having a promising profit in the future as I observed nowadays, but since a lot of altcoins we can't predict exactly who is on top among altcoin currencies. But a big possibilities that holding and investing it could probably give you a big profit in the future.

And Bitradio (BRO) it's a new i co project already running almost 3 month i think it's enough promising too

I don't know about anyone else, personally I saw a lot of value in the litecoin, I had seen enough of Altcoin being pump to the moon simply due to the marketing hype, that they don't even provide an usable wallet, and not to mention they didn't even start to develop something useful, lite coin is a well established coin with strong dev support, this is something making it valuable, but they don't have good marketing team to creating a lot of hype.  ;D

Note: a promising coin do not necessarily it will be pumped to the moon, I had seen plenty of promising investment being screwed, I would prefer not to put money into promising coin, but put money into the coin that making the most hype.

Probably LTC is very bad for now, but I see they still survive and strong in trading from the past until now still teteap survive there, I think this is not in LTC alone, other Altcoin almost similar to imitate Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is the center. Of all the Altcoin that exist today, then there is no harm if LTC and Altcoin others copy from all the features of Bitcoin.

ETH and BTC are great crypto and worth the most investment

The answer is different person to person. That depends on your preference, because some coins need to keep long term to get max. Profit. But some are like ethereum is good to get some profit short term due to its price fluctuation continuously. Therefore, which is worth to invest is totally depend on you, based on your purpose. For me, the most promising altcoin is Etherium since it is second to bitcoin and it has potential to surpass bitcoin. In addition to that, etherium is being used by every ICOs when they are crowdfunding.
