Title: Bitcoin wallet transaction not showing up on blockchain.info
Post by: techbytes on May 05, 2013, 12:48:27 AM
I made a trade with user Clue4 and I sent him 2.2BTC using my bitcoin wallet but when I checked his address on blockchain.info, it shows no record and if I search by transaction ID, I get the following message:

"Sorry we could not find any blocks or transactions matching this hash"

Could this be because his bitcoin wallet is not open?  Am I being scammed?

Details of the transaction:

Status: 0/unconfirmed, broadcast through 27 nodes
Date: 5/4/2013 18:37
To: trade with Clue4 for 1000CNC 19WfYLS9DZDQg7A25dYgseX5gnQvDDaU16
Debit: -2.20 BTC
Transaction fee: -0.0005 BTC
Net amount: -2.2005 BTC
Transaction ID: ca82cabaf09ca05368b49c8516df30a5080f52dceaa6d2a72fa0fb13d5c48717

Thanks,

You can try to rebroadcast the transactions by doing -rescan on your bitcoin-qt

That was it, rescan fixed it.  Thanks!  Small donation sent.

Now waiting for Clue4 to keep his end of the trade.
