Title: Atiflash 247 Post by: SVK on June 06, 2017, 06:22:46 PM Hi all,
I have successfully flashed my GPU's with Atiwinflash BUT I didn't install Atikmdag 1.4.5 patcher. Next day I wanted to play with BIOS a bit more but I'm unable to start Atiflash 247. All I'm getting is "Error reading from ROM" So, today I have done full system restore (Aomei backupper) installed new AMD driver 17.4.4 used CCleaner and and applied patch before tried to run Atiflash_247 again. Again I'm getting "Error reading from ROM" Would someone be able to help me out please ? Google is of no help unfortunately :( Thank you for any suggestions :) Title: Re: Atiflash 247 Post by: puwaha on June 06, 2017, 09:36:47 PM Are you running ATIWinFlash, or ATIFlash? ATIFlash is command line only, so if you are just double-clicking on that, then it's probably throwing that error because you didn't supply the ROM name in the command line. This is probably expected behavior.

Using a Sapphire PULSE RX 570 4GB. When I run the command line version with the -i command it says "fail" in the test column. Any idea what the problem could be? The card is working fine and is the only GPU in the system and I did a BIOS backup with GPU-Z. Indeed, that's just asking for trouble. @OP, you should save and flash with atiflash in command line. |
