siriously with sr and bmr and all those other things runing strong bitcoin is about to blow up, mark my words 200 by mid summer and 450 by end of year. its going to get big big BIG. not shitting you i know this and its time to buy like now!!!!! you will not see cheep coins like this till the next megga crash in 2014 in may when if falls from 1240 to 250. make that money NOW!!!!!!!

What statistics are you basing this off of?

450 by the end of the year is too high I think, however I don't have any funds right now so owell:) At 450 by the end of the year unless difficulty goes up 4x, GPU could be profitable:) how many have you bought?

Would be fantastic. I hope your right, I think now is the time to buy as well, and the sky is the limit for BTC, I imagine much money will be made off of it, but for right now trading alts is the way to go while we are waiting for BTC to take off...

That depends on if things don't implode this summer. The whole economic house of cards is teetering on a regular basis anymore. The Boyzzz that run the central banks, financial rackets on Wall Street and government lackeys have kept this teetering heap upright much longer than I thought they could. Being well diversified isn't a bad idea when/if this thing finally falls over. Besides, buying and using crypto-currencies takes away some of their power to manipulate.

I'm not calling a bottom or top for BTC. However there is much potential for crypto-currencies if things start getting shaky and hoards of people rush to any safe harbor they can find. Time will tell.

I can't see 450 by the end of the year. Maybe a stable $250 would be ideal.

i guess what i mean is if you have money on the fiat side of BITSTAMP then put in your buy orders. i sold at 120 and bout at 90(to bad i didnt wait till 80:( )  anyways i sold at about 105 thinking it would did to 70 ish but no it is building support and its starting to look real solid. if you look at bitcoinity mostly green lines and all the good news. im not sayng rush out and spend all  your money on bitcoins just if you have money on the buy side then buy thats all

of coarse this is just my opinion.... trend line from inception will be at 500 next year. im not saying that it will not go down but if your in for the long then ya buy now and wait a year or two and i am sure that your will see about a 2% increase per week on average. 104% year or 208% in two years.  ;)

I believe this year has been unpredictable and anything could and will happen. I do personally feel we will be rising up very soon so I have already got my new Bitcoins secured  :)

I might venture into alt-coins but just for trading purposes, Bitcoin is a long term investment for me.

well ill i know is that btc was droping steady and i did not know why.... so i sell and i put in buy orders at 90 80 70 60 but it levels out and is on the rise now i dont know why it did not fall more so i see posts like sr up and running..... strong coincidence if not correlated.

Underground markets effect the value of BTC alot less than your suggesting, if at all. Bitcoin has risen while SR has been down in the past. There are more people speculating at a chance to make money than buying drugs, that effects the value of BTC more than any underground market would.

Bitcoin could be 10 or  Xk. There are too many variables in the equation.
