Title: Best laptop for Minergate CPU mining Post by: Two4D2 on June 07, 2017, 01:06:50 PM Hello =) I have a chance to put my laptop somewhere with free electricity and would like to use that for CPU mining :) Cant really do GPU mining as I can only fit laptop there...so what would be the best laptop for CPU mining you guys think?

Looking at around $1k +/- $200 I don't think many people will have a dedicated laptop for mining so the best bet would be to work it out for yourself http://monerobechmarks.byethost5.com/?i=3 - scroll down until you hit CPU benchmarks. Cross compare CPUs listed here to laptops around the price you're after and then check the hash-rate on a calculator to see if it'll be worthwhile.
