Hi guys i am having around 1k dogecoin in my account its value currently around 3 $ . I was thinking what if dogecoin value goes to 1$ . I know that dogecoin dev's left project long before and it was considered dead . But even its having market cap of 36,97,14,195 according coincap result .Is there any way of reaching at least 0.1 $ ? . If any highly influential please reply

Currently it has a 381m market cap. If 1 doge was worth $1, it'd have a 109.71 billion dollar market cap, which is just too high at this time.

I don't think that doge coin will reach 1$ and even 0.1$ but it might be possible when bitcoin price is more than 1m$ each which I think would take a long time and the chance of this happening when bitcoin reach the said price is low. Another way of it to reach 0.1$ is if there will be a miracle like dogecoin being used on famous online shops to pay that will happen to it in the near future which is most unlikely to happen.

I wouldn't say never.  Yes it's a long way from being $1 right now,  but it's not impossible.   And the fact is, dogecoin has many advantages over bitcoin, including low fees and quick confirmation times.  It just doesn't have the userbase of bitcoin, and it has an utterly retarded brand.  Perhaps that will improve with time.

Let's dash our hopes against the dream of it being a penny first before we start talking about dollars.

That would be better than freakin bitcoin , and I'm pretty sure doge has a chance of reaching 1$ per coin. The only thing that isn't allowing it is the really high amount of sell orders and in order for it to reach a price like that maybe 100 btc would be required or even more. Maybe 1$ per doge will be when bitcoin is dumped or traders finally realise that they can pump doge also.

Why people look first to dollar value instead of market cap remains a mystery to me

I am newbie, but dogecoin become $ 1? ........ is that a joke?. There's simple reason why I see your post is a joke. First, see the price action from daily, weekly and monthly, is never high bro. This coin are stable on low price, look again. Second, their volume has the same way, never pump. Third, join the forum that make dogecoin as their topic, believe or not their topic is bad. Become $ 1 is long way journey for dogecoin, they need good news speculation to pump value coin. Never invest on dogecoin, leave it. Good luck.

cryptocurrency market is a kind of crazy market that the impossible can happen but I don't t see this happening soon but all depends on bitcoin price

Same here, I will be the richest man in my hometown I guess. There is a possibility though as if BTC becomes too high to imagine then most probably Doge will also be highly valuable. But I guess that will be a dream for us.

Dogecoin has just been riding the general altcoin pumps I don't see it ever reaching a price of 1$, also remember it has infinite inflation to it so its not the ideal coin.

I invest in every other coins in small amounts. Hope one of them shoots like BTC and ETH.

Now the price of every dogecoin is only 0.003 dollar. reaching the price to 1 dollar means rising the price 300 times. In this situation the marketcap will be about 100 billion dollar which is the total marketcap of all coins.  I think reaching the price to 1 dollar is only possible when the bitcoin price also rise atleast 300 times. That time not only you can be a rich person, But also every person having any of major cryptocurrencies now can be reach.

I would be happy if it reaches 5 cents  ;D. $1 would make me rich for sure.

No one can say its possible to happen or not but I as a trader will be glad if dogecoin will be more than 1$ while its mother cryptocurrency " Bitcoin" is raised more than 1M, We are waiting altcoin that can make larger than bitcoin also has a good  platform and excellent progress. Dogecoin was quit this month, trust me, hold longer dogecoin cause it can be anything what you want just wait for the time to come.

Coin is pumped and that's it, in my honest opinion it can only go down - don't forget its value was 17 satoshi few moths ago, and when it goes down we will wait for new pump.

Still, now there are no hopes on Dogecoin but already reached more than 120sats in the market. But to reach 1$ means really it needs a lot of development in background and Dev should burn some Dogecoin in order to reach 1$.

There are some misunderstanding regarding the project i think,the huge market cap is simply because of the unlimited amount of coins dogecoin has and developers are not dead as there was a network upgrade to DIP-0420 and a request to signal for UAJS and that is when the price started increasing and the community is still active.

When it comes to alt coin, the importance of the developers can not be underestimated under any circumstances and that is what is facing Doge coin that after a period of time that its has been in existence, its still grappling for $1 when coins that even launched last month have surpass that level and funny enough that won't happen by magic. Op if you cannot take it any longer by waiting, just sell, contu your losses and move on.

Sorry to break your dream but it ain't going to happened,like you said the developer had left and doge doesn't has anything that makes it different from other alt coin, it is almost near to impossible that doge going to reach 1$ and I even doubt it can reach 0.1$, I think it is a downhill for doge, better move to other alt coin to invest

It can never go to $1 price per Doge. The reason is its market capitalization cannot exceed that strict limits. What do you expect from it? To exceed Ethereum or bitcoin...

It will never reach even $0.01 price, right now the price of at 300 Dogecoins for $1. Too many coins the market and no support from developers so it'll be a dream to see Doge rising up.

I am aware that the market capitalisation by distributing billions of coins so that it wont reach 1$ or even 1 cent . But what makes dogecoin move on and any future enhancement result on this thread much appreciated

If Dogecoin really goes to 1$ I'll be very very sad man. I had millions of Dogecoin when price was only 20 satoshi. Now I don't have any Dogecoin and I think it's in bubble now. We know market is not rational, it's possible for newer highs and absurd records. I wouldn't buy Dogecoin for over 100 satoshi though.

It is amusing when you come across old comments on coins and then the coin is doing the completely opposite, who would have known DOGE would be getting all this focus, DOGE at $1 who knows, it would make a shed load of rich people.

they said the same about ripple and look at XRP, also the same about XVG and it went $.29 at one point.

If that happens surely the market will be growing much higher in volume compared to the top listed assets. Even now we can't say that it won't happen, because think of the ripple it grew almost in a similar manner reaching as high above $3 taking it to the second in terms of volume. Now started to decline.

Oh, this is a very high price for this coin. Maybe in a few years, but not now. The fact that the coin is growing now does not mean that it will grow tomorrow. We will need to wait many years for DOGE to cost $1 per coin.

This will not happen in the next 2-3 years because there are too many dogecoins. If this happens, it would be the first place on the coinmarketcap.

This is unlikely to happen due to the overwhelming supply. It’s just too many for the market to handle. So the possibility for Doge to land on a $1 price line is quite slim. But this would be awesome if it were to happen coz I also have some Doge in my stash. But hey, who knows right? Let’s just be optimistic.

You are asking wrong questions which is you are comparing cryto with fiat value not btc value. To answer your questions, YES it will reach $1.00 because increase btc value but doge btc value will remain the same or go below.

    If dogecoin value goes up will it is good i will earn a lot, but i think it is impossible maybe we need to wait for a long period of time. But i will still hold dogecoin and hoping someday it will have a greater value like bitcoin....

LOL, There is no restriction on dreaming as you already mentioned in your post that Doge Dev left the project long before how it is possible for a project to grow with dev and any development it's better to leave doge and try to invest in some good coin which really has good future. Because at this time it looks impossible for doge to cross 1$ each it is only possible if bitcoin grow huge like 1 Million Dollars for a Bitcoin then I can say doge can go to 1$ otherwise not possible.

I don't understand why people are still into doge. I had over a million at one point, it was a funny little joke, and now it's worth so much even when the creator says it's a dead coin?

There are some possible causes:

1. Massive adoption, almost all exchanges includes doge also several wallets includes it.
2. Too cheap feeds.   The best choice to move small amounts of money compared to btc or eth.
3. Very fast transactions and verification.
