Title: How to give a gpu usage to cg - control how much gpu it can use? Post by: testmonkey on May 05, 2013, 10:45:28 AM I just started mining with cgminer and my gpu is being proper noisy, it is currently at 99% usage and 76c (and going up) which is a very high temperature.
Is there anyway that I can set it to use less of my gpu, say give it 50% usage. Also I am getting some artifacts on the monitor. Got any suggestions? My spec: - i5 3570k - MSI 7950 - 8GB 1600mhz ram EDIT: The settings that I put in the 'star miner.bat' file were ; -I 10 -d 0 --temp-target 55 --auto-fan --gpu-memclock 300 |
